Mike Norton to sneak into temple to film porn?

I suppose the point of this is to show that the church cannot be true as we've been taught as members about things like the bishop has the power of discernment so he of course would get a prompting from the spirit to deny the temple recommend from the the person getting the temple recommend who would commit such an abhorrent act in the most sacred of all places. And even if the bishop was not in tune enough with the spirit then certainly the Stake President would know something was amiss as well as the Temple President. The Church puts such emphasis on the spirit as it outweighs the problems of history in the church, should not the spirit come to the rescue and prevent such an abomination from happening?

Everything we do impacts everyone. We are all connected -- I agree. But the beauty of this whole thing is the freedom to act and perform according to one's own mind and conscience. Let the chips fall where they will.

This is harmful and I hope he stops this, just like I want the church to stop harming people.

Norton is fighting fire with fire.

The church doesn't want to stop doing worthiness interviews and doesn't consider itself accountable for the harm it has caused untold children. The church won't apologize for its political movement in effort to keep gay marriage illegal. The church doesn't apologize for anything, ever. The church is rotten to the core.

I say, let Mike Norton do his thing. If he wants to use the temple for a porn backdrop that is perfectly fine with me.

The lack of professed discernment is one of the reasons that motivate Norton to do what he does. He's anxious to show the world that Mormons really don't have this special power of discernment which they claim to have. It's one of the so-called truth claims of Mormonism that has been disproved right before our very eyes. Surely the apostles must be concerned that people are going to put 2+2 = no discernment. Norton has proven that the Mormon claim to discernment is bogus and utterly false.

I take it you're opposed to the idea of Norton making films of the temple? He snuck in and took videos. Are you opposed to that?

I clicked the link and saw some advertisement, shock statement, involving going down and perhaps filming in the temple, but I don't get what he's saying he's going to do. Sneak in when no one else is there, or try and film scenes while people are actively participating in a session? Maybe they are going to make a porn film with a temple setting that they create? I don't really see the point. It sounds like he's advertising a porn film. Why would the actors do this if it isn't for money?

Its almost funny any one cares and implores him to not do it. I don't imagine he's going to try and sneak a bunch of people into a temple ceremony and then crash it with some music and porn scenes. The security would be quickly ushered in and everything broken up, probably fairly quickly--depending how old they are. Police will come, or something, and the actors won't get paid.

My guess is they are going to have a bunch of people dressed in temple gear and have an endowment room or something then porn activity breaks out. Or they'll be doing initiatories and...bam...porn scenes. Or am I missing something that everyone obviously sees?

I've never understood new name noah's efforts. I don't care at all nor see the value in recording the temple stuff and posting on the net. It never bothered me as a member and it just seems stupid and childish now.

Imagine a dancing lady atop the altar of the temple for a strip show. It wouldn't be too hard to plop her on the altar of the temple.

I can think of all kinds of nasty things they could do to mock the temple.

Maybe Mormon Jesus will get angry enough and actually come back to burn us apostates!
