This is your brain on Mormonism. Im sorry but it is about as useful as thoughts and prayers for helping the credibility of disaffected Mormons, and preventing them from being seen as anything but the lost and fallen monsters they are portrayed to be.
Religion is regarded by the common people as true, by the wise as false, and by rulers as useful.

No love to the LDS Chuch, which is full of true bastards. They deserve all the mockery we can produce. IN FULL COLOR.
This is in poor taste and I'm glad to see it nearly universally condemned. I strongly suspect it's a publicity stunt but still offensive.
I wouldn't smoke BBQ beef brisket on the grounds or a Hindu temple or burn the Koran outside a mosque and stunts like this are equally as offensive. I think this shows that he isn't looking for criticism of the church to win in the marketplace of ideas. It's a sensational attempt for personal attention, in my opinion.
Jersey Girl, lots of victims go on to lead perfectly normal lives, whatever that means, without needing constant attention for some sort of internal validation. However, if you're softly or indirectly suggesting NNN is in dire need of counseling or therapy then I'm behind you 100%. The dude gots issues, mang.

I can honestly say that there hasn’t been many things I’ve done in my efforts to expose the cult that I would do differently if given the chance to do it again. I’m trying to be a kinder, gentler apostate and I’ve learned over the years that I’m more likely to win someone over with kindness and truth than biting sarcasm and F-bombs. A few people were shocked that I shook the hand of the prosecutor after the trial and even had a laugh with him after he asked me to send him a shirt. I’m gonna send him a Mormon MAGA hat instead.
And now that I’m done with this nonsense it’s time to move on to my lawsuit against the city of South Jordan. I’ve had numerous attorneys confirm that it was a gross violation of my rights when the cops allowed a private citizen to rifle through my wallet and take a photo of my drivers license. It just added insult to injury when the chief of police personally authorized the sale of my sensitive personal information to a complete stranger for $12.25 a few weeks later.

I trust that in the invent Norton produces a Mormon temple porn film you'll refrain from checking it out lest the poor taste overwhelm your sensitivities.
Everyone in this thread who has made their objections clear should steer clear of that which so offends them. In other words, don't watch the film.
I read the OP, read the reddit, and thought that possibly there was a mistake. Having looked at his Facebook, there is no mistake at work here.
Since he's considered a public figure in this world and this is a public Facebook post, here is one of his comments.
Mike Norton Alma Smit, they’re gonna entrench anyways. We all know that Utah watches more porn per capita than any other state so why not give the Mormons what they love the most; temples and porn. Or, in this case, porn filmed in the temples.
Any complaints? You’ll have to take complaints up with the director of photography, Ron Jeremy. I’m just the bouncer. <<duplicating his emoticon.
I roundly condemn this activity.

There is already Mormon themed porn on the internets. Garments as lingerie and cheesy porn stories about stake presidents giving “interviews”.
Adding a real temple won’t move the needle one way or the other in my opinion. Sure he’ll get a little press if he pulls off the stunt. Big deal. Could just as easily build a studio set to look like a temple. I think Norton is simply trying to defile a sacred place he feels deeply cut him as grossly as he can without murdering someone or arson in an attempt to achieve his own weird agenda.
So, what does that all mean? Nothing. All this does is make Norton feel good (and maybe a little horny).

It has nothing to do with my sensitivities. It's speaking up against bullying behavior and religious prejudice.
I have no super natural beliefs so all religions are just a different mix of BS that I'm not interested in. In the same way I don't have any attraction to other males but I have no problem being an ally and speaking out against homophobia.
