Won't this allow the perpetrator church to play the victim? The cojcolds leadership is just itching for a chance to flip the script and complain of persecution. Norton's porn suggestion seems to be playing into this. I can just hear Scott Lloyd and others trying to include all exmos with Norton, too. Perhaps Norton should give this idea a rest?

I'd like to see mock interviews of a bishop interviewing teenagers in worthiness interviews. Now that would raise some eyebrows. Can you imagine? How about that, Jersey Girl? Those could make for powerful anti-Mormon commercials. The sky is the limit!

This is certainly a polarizing type of protest. If anything, it shows how difficult the idea of exposé is. On one hand, society is intrigued with Leah Remini showing the ridiculous practices of Scientology. A lot of people probably even endorse her approach. On the other hand, a Mike Norton uses a taboo approach of using porn. It challenges what we as a society not only think about the secrecy of Mormonism, but porn in general.

So Jersey, why doesn’t this overly bother me you might ask? Because I’m not bothered by porn so long as it’s with consenting adults. Would I be upset if the porn stars snuck into my home and filmed a sex scene in my bed? Nope. As long as they left a note to wash the sheets, I wouldn’t care one iota. If they stole something on the way out, I’d prosecute to the fullest.
