Okay, thank you. I'll try to reply to it tomorrow. I really, really, need to get back to my murder cases.

Would it interest you to know that I'm in the middle of working on a murder case right now?

The exact quote from The Hill reads, "'If there's alcohol being served and people are being loose, I want to have the best-looking brunette in the room standing next to me,' Pence said.'"
Same article, Billy Graham:
After further discussion, they decided that in order to avoid any situations that would compromise them or bring on suspicion, they would not, "travel, meet, or eat alone with a woman other than my wife."
www1.cbn.com/cbnnews/politics/2017/march/pence-marriage-rule-wise-advice-or-misogynistic-throwback
This article is in reaction to the Washington Post article, not its source. The link to the Washington Post article is embedded in there, in which it is stated, "In 2002, Mike Pence told the Hill that he never eats alone with a woman other than his wife " That is what was was stated in the Washington Post article you reduced to "rumor." Because prominent Republican politicians aren't in the habit of responding to false rumors that have earned them a ton of criticism by acknowledging that was said but is "out of context" then defending it, and because the Washington Post is reliable in its quoting of sources, that's generally a good reason to think it is likely the case.
That's how it has been referred to in this thread. You've described me as "morphing it to mean all sorts of ___" even though that's how I've exactly described it multiple times. It's also the case that, in defending Pence, posters like you and Ceeboo have decided to defend the general case of men not professionally meeting alone with women. So, comments have been focused on your views too.
It's led to people like Chap thinking that America is a inch away from Saudi Arabia, so it's important to understand that this is a minority culture inside the US. While it is very real, it does not represent all or most of us, nor does it reflect standard on-book business practice. To the extent it happens and to the extent prominent politicians support it, it is worth being opposed.
It can be stressed enough that the reason a Democratic politician would go after it is because it's easy pickins'. Trying to cast rejecting this attitude as "radical leftism" is delusional.

Re: Kamala blasts Pence for refusing to meet women alone
In this era of #metoo, where there are dozens of high profile cases of men being uncovered as sexual harassers and assaulter with independent corroborating stories and evidence, it would seem the best way to avoid that would be not to sexually harass or assault anyone. The premise that women, but not men, are vipers lying in wait to falsely accuse people to the point that the only safe or practical thing to do is to avoid being alone with them, is absurd. It's a little amusing in the case of Pence, because if his secret grindr profile were discovered tomorrow, that would be shocking, but it wouldn't be surprising at all. He fits the stereotype of the an anti-gay politician who is secretly into men like a glove. But apparently people here think he has nothing to fear from male false allegations.
Doc relies on responding to this by creating a strawman where people widely assert that all allegations from women must be believed on mere say-so even though no one here thinks this. Of course, if that were true, then not being alone is no protection. A liar can lie about that too. Believe accusers no matter what means believe accusers no matter what. So discriminating against women for self-protection that doesn't provide any protection is asinine.
Implicit in bringing up #metoo is the idea that this is somehow yielding lots of cases of men being railroaded or falsely accused. Is it? How is anyone's take away from #metoo that men are now under significant threat from a wave of false allegations? I can think of a handful of examples where people have gotten carried away. Woody Allen has a decent case for, if not his innocence, then suspension of judgment, yet he is written off as a guilty of raping his young daughter by a sizable contingent of people to the point that it has negatively affected his reputation and career. Of course, Woody Allen is also famous for dating the adoptive daughter of his girlfriend when she was many years his junior that many people incorrectly think involves him dating a teen he was a father figure to. And he has written several films where characters he plays have an affinity for young women. And his accuser has a brother who has won a Pulitzer Prize for uncovering Hollywood sexual predators strongly supporting her. So Allen has a pretty unique set of facts working against him that bias people that I think the average person doesn't have to worry about. A few others are complicated like this. But, it's mostly just Harvey Weinstein's, Bill Cosby's, Roy Moore's, etc. who are regarded as guilty because the evidence they did it is quite strong. They weren't taken down because they didn't wisely avoid women. They were taken down because they did it. Want to avoid Bill Cosby's fate? Don't drug and rape women and you'll probably be fine.

Re: Kamala blasts Pence for refusing to meet women alone
I just want it noted that EA can't:
1) Produce a direct quote from Pence on the "Pence Policy" as it's being framed.
2) Produce anyone who has been adversely affected by the so-called Pence Policy, other than the massive self-inflicted butthurt Liberals are undergoing.
3) Produce any real-world evidence the Pence Policy, attributed to Pence, has been implemented officially in some organization and has caused direct harm to a woman's career.
4) Admit he was wrong on two points:
4a) That the Pence Policy doesn't exist.
4b) Kamala Harris did, in fact, “F” her superior.
What I find additionally interesting in this weird dive into the fevered Leftist imagination is they're seemingly ok with Kamala Harris damned her superior and receiving quid pro quo benefits which run contrary to Patriarchal Power narratives, #metoo narratives, and their disgust for Republicans who “F” up or down in their own power structure.
Instead, what we get is an all out attack on a presumably moral man, a faithful husband, and a far better example for others than whatever the “F” thunderdump Trump is and dozens of other current and past politicians on both sides of the aisle. I'd bet you dime to dollar if Pence were a Muslim, and a Democrat, we wouldn't be hearing crap on this matter, but, because he's a Christian and Republican, and occupies a high position on the cultural power hierarchy, as it were, I guess he's fair game for lies, innuendo, and bigotry.

If you read a post that displayed clear intolerance and bigotry towards Pence (and me), how many sentences would it take for someone like you to recognize this type of contempt, intolerance and bigotry that thrives fro those on the radical left?
YO isn't worth spit on the subject of what I see and what I don't see.
My opinion may not be worth spit to you, but my opinion seems to be quite accurate and evidence based.
I see both the guy who looks like you and all the people that his actions may harm in some way.
BS! You see what most radical leftists see - ONLY the color of their skin, their religious beliefs and their gender.
