We don't do that here. I'm not sure you even know which forum you are posting to? Hypocrisy and condescending Christians are welcome here.

PS, Servant, I mean this in the nicest kind of way, but you really need to use hard returns in your post. Using paragraphs makes it way easier to read and follow a discussion.

Slight detour: Cwald, you doing okay with the flooding?

Yes. The flooding in my area of the state is minimal.

Good to hear. Looks pretty bad between Albany and Corvallis.

If knowing a lot about Mormonism and the personal history of its founder is "bullying," I guess I'm a bully. I'm just posting this here in the hope that he'll see it or some of his friends will. The site where I originally posted has to preview posts before posting them, so I doubt that will get through. I have posted it on Facebook. I find, personally, that Mormons operate on a lower ethical level than Christians - and when they have no answers (in this case about Smith) they become the kings and queens of "ad homs" because they know they are wrong to follow a man who took sexual advantage of teenage girls behind his wife's back. Frankly, I don't really like many Mormons for that very reason = after having lived with them so long in the southwest, I know how they operate. Strangely, though, my best friend down there was a Mormon, and I led her to Christ on her death bed. But, as far as apologetics goes, they are way out of their league when dealing with informed, educated Christians. I don't remember a Ms. Jack on CARM. Maybe another site?

Thank you for coming to our board and sharing your judgement and bitterness.

And thank you for proving that a Lodge brother won't ever say anything negative about another Lodge brother (oh I mean Temple).

Thanks for once again demonstrating that the loudest Christians are usually the worst Christians.

Now didn't your prophet say he'd crow like a Rooster? I think so. That's in the same prophecy he gave about always flying over his enemies. Do you believe the same thing, then, about "Loud Mormons?" In any case, Kishie, I don't really care what you say about Christians.............unless you become one.l

It appears, that you may be the one "flipping out," if that phrase has any meaning except to children.

Shulem wrote:I guess you don't believe the Lord, right? If I was you, I'd read a few books on the proof of the Resurrection of Christ. If Christ did overcome death, "baby," then you might also believe he's coming back. I'm an Anglican, and we don't talk about "rapture," and that sort of thing, other than reciting that Christ will come again in the Apostles' and Nicene creeds. He will come again for you, either when you die, or when he physically returns. There's a DVD on Amazon about Jesus' resurrection - go ahead and order it, and start to weigh the evidence for it. As for me, I believe in Him, and know He will wind up earthly affairs one day. But I have no idea of when He will, or exactly how. Try to use your brain and not your emotions. It really helps to have critical thinking skills, something I know Mormons or former Mormons have real trouble with.

I don't need or want Jesus in my life. I don't like the Bible. I don't like the Bible god.

No thank you.

Servant wrote:Well, Smilies, I think you do have a spiritual hunger, which is why you are on this site. If you've been burned by Mormonism and its lies, you are yet another in a long, long list of those who have been horribly hurt by Joe Smith and company. I won't say any more, other than to suggest you do as I suggested, and consider the facts. If you reject the resurrection, then there's nothing more I have to say - but if you come to examine the evidence for Christ's resurrection, then I believe you will want to know more about this man, Jesus. May the Lord lead you.

Okay, so this is what I'm getting so far.

The way to bring LDS and ex-LDS to Christ is to get on a board, insult their cognitive skills, disparage their loved ones as a conglomerate representation (Mormons), imply that they are completely ignorant, could stand to watch some Amazon videos, and you are all knowing to the point where you can read their hearts.

How close did I get?
