What the Fossils Say and why it matters

I ran across this the other day. Donald Prothero, geologist/paleontologist. Pretty impressive man with a great presentation here.

I continue to be amazed at how far the sciences have advanced in the last 10 years. The amount of transitional fossils found and study in the past 15 years is incredible. The later part of this, "why it matters" is an important message.

Those fossil records are astounding. I understand that BYU is still suffering from the effects of the Cambrian explosion.
