Guess that means this thread will have future installments to get all that history up to and including the Dr. Shades-Perfume fortuitous event.

Nope. There's too much information to include from that point forward, so I doubt anyone will ever try to tackle it--at least, not with anywhere near the same degree of completeness.

That's the problem with this supernatural stuff, it doesn't really solve anything. It's a placeholder for ignorance.

Conveniently enough, a guy who likes Perfume just as much as I do uploaded a video that explains all the reasons why you should become one of their fans:

Perfume reacts to "Teens React to J-Pop"

Post by _Dr. Shades »

Dear Perfumaniacs,

You may be familiar with the long-running YouTube series "Teens react to _____." One installment back in 2015 was Teens React to J-pop, and Perfume was the first of three featured groups.

Today, lo these four years later, a video was uploaded wherein Perfume themselves react to the teens reacting! Afterward is a full-on interview, with the questions in English and Perfume's responses in subtitled Japanese. The whole thing is a Perfume overload, 'cause the camera focuses on their faces for many minutes on end.

Ahh, Perfume. A-chan, Kashiyuka, and Nocchi--so adorable. Enjoy:

It would be fun to watch Perfume reacting to Pentatonix singing Perfume hits. What would they think about such singing without electronic voice modulation? Did the words sound garbled for real Japanese speakers?

Newly converted Perfume fan. Good stuff. Videos not so much, but bring the music. Added quite a few of their songs to one of my favorite Spotify playlists, which includes Sub Focus, NERO, Excision, Adventure Club, Daft Punk, Sander van Doorn, Tiesto, and a few others.

Welcome to the board, Stocks. I have a feeling you're going to do very well here.
