Correct me if I misread the recent legislations...but doesn't Georgia still allow abortion prior to 6 weeks...prior to a heartbeat?...ergo, a raped woman is not being forced to do anything (post rape that is). Or are you proposing that a woman, being such a poor fragile creature, is unable to discern what to do with her rape-baby until the 7th week?
Or are you more in line with Hillary Clinton, whereas the rape-baby should be almost out of the birth canal...big toe still in there, and WHACK - hammer to the head is a perfectly reasonable expression of a woman maintaining control over her body?

1. Can you explain the biological or scientific reasoning behind why a heartbeat becomes your line in the sand?

2. Can you speak to which 100-percent accurate pregnancy tests that freshly-raped women can start using, and hopefully generating those accurate test results within enough time to schedule and have an abortion at one of the state’s three abortion facilities prior to hitting the six week deadline? (I’m also kinda wondering what new state-mandated embryo testing will be implemented to make sure that our rape victim hasn’t hit Day 43 since impregnation to avoid legal peril, but maybe that can be a bonus question for you)

I’ve posted before about our experience with anencephaly. During the course of trying to have a child, my wife had several miscarriages. One of them when the pregnancy was pretty far along. I’ll never forget rushing to the hospital and then seeing her so grief stricken afterward. The notion that she could have been criminally investigated and perhaps charged with murder afterward makes me angrier than I can describe. What the hell is wrong with these people?

You should actually, first, be "sure" what the law is...there is a choice...have an abortion within about 6 weeks. Pretty sure 12 yo rape victims can manage that schedule....otherwise, the right to choose is the least of their worries.
