For me the real issue is the fruit of liberal vs. conservative legislation. It didn't bother me when Harry Reid went on and on about Mitt Romney's taxes and tithing deduction. Democrats were unmoved by Charlie Rangel, Al Sharpton, and Melissa Harris-Perry's tax scandals. All that really mattered was who says they're going to keep the gravy train running. Comrade DeBlasio paid an effective 9% total tax rate in the overtaxed state of New York due to losses he claimed on his real estate. The left was unconcerned. He was reelected with little reference to the issue other than over at Breitbart.

Sounds like we should raise awareness of the issue.

Interesting that you can quote DeBlasio’s effective rate. You were concerned enough to seek or consume that information and perhaps form an opinion about it.

Why doesn't Pelosi give even a million to build these people in her sanctuary city a bumplex with showers, a kitchen, and some public bathrooms so these people don't have to take a dump on the street?

Trump has initiated his own government shutdown of sorts. After learning that Nancy Pelosi had accused the President of obstruction, Trump stormed out of his scheduled meeting with Democrats after 3 minutes, and spoke at a podium that had already been conveniently set up. No infrastructure talk while there is talk of impeachment.

Ok, not exactly accurate - Trump stormed into the meeting. Nevertheless, politicians being political ain't exactly breaking news.

Understand where the American people are in Trump's mind. He is taking them hostage in his war with Congress.

Pelosi, to her credit, tried to pull the party back from the ledge it perches upon. Currently the Democrats are damned if they do and damned if they don't on impeachment...ergo, the new direction for their scandal train.

Their bridges may crumble, but the President refused to work with Congress because they are investigating him. I don't know if he would throw his mother under a bus, but he is allowing the American people to sit under crumbling bridges, because of his pride, vanity and ego.

Yawn...sounds like DNC drum beating is being outsourced to folks like you...to many Americans, it is the Democrats who are the problem...their inability to focus on anything other than "Aaargh, Trump!" is the only thing most people see today...and will see in 2020. For starters, not obstruct justice. Working with Congress to pass bills without stipulating that it can only happen if they forgo their own duty to provide oversight. That in and of itself is just more obstruction. But you're too stupid to understand any of this.
