Sure Subbie. Just how many of the top ten states listed in the article linked in the OP are in the top 10 for average age and/or density. I’ll wait...

Yes, the famously high population density, retirement destination that is Mississippi.

Thins is an amazing self-own by subs even by his standard. Apparently he has never seen data on the most densely populated states or which states have the greatest number or percentage of retired folks within their population.

Yea, +110 million people in the South at 1st place, and +75 million people in the 2nd place West...owned indeed.

Yea, 5 of the 10 top destinations for retirees being in the South...owned. What is Florida thinking?

Cool. You’re going all in on the self-own, and still wrong about it.

As the OP lists by state, your claim would need to do the same to be any sort of rebuttal. ‘Regions’ aren’t going to cut it. ; )

Here's a map of median age by state:

https://overflow.solutions/demographic- ... ach-state/

Outside of Florida, the southern part of the country that also is the most overweight part of the country is relatively young.

Here is a ranking of states by population density.

https://state.1keydata.com/state-population-density.php

As anyone familiar with the United States would guess, the top is dominated by the North East. North Carolina is the first southern state to appear at 15. The southern states that overlap with high rates of obesity - Mississippi, Alabama, Louisiana, Arkansas, etc. - rank relatively low.

The South got fattest the fastest compared to other areas of the country because a poor dietary culture combined with a rapid increase in sedentary lifestyles due to changes in available jobs and indoor air conditioning becoming widely available. Or so that's what I've read.

I'm sure it's population density and age despite that making zero sense in several different ways.

again, your insistence on bludgeoning brevity to death is admirable...but noticing that more tan people among people that live in sunniest environments ain't that breathtaking...except to AussieDolt.

There's a bit of politics in there. Remember the uproar when Michelle Obama was encouraging healthy diets and wanted to teach kids to tend a garden?

OMG, what about freedum!?

LOL! Sub thinks density is determined by the total number of people.
