I know you’re not this stupid. You just wanted to use the cool WWJSO gif. : D
Jersey Girl's post was not in the context of 'legally'...but expressed in exasperation of character/moral judgment. At which case sins of the heart are tantamount to sins of the hand/mouth - correct?
or were you getting a cup of hot assumption with cream?
...and yeah, that "difference" you mentioned...where is it?
Seek freedom and become captive of your desires...seek discipline and find your liberty I can tell if a person is judgmental just by looking at them what is chaos to the fly is normal to the spider - morticia addams If you're not upsetting idiots, you might be an idiot. - Ted Nugent
You asked if there can be a difference between what comes out of one’s mouth versus what one might think. Unless you always speak exactly what you’re thinking - which you do not - you know that this is true. That’s how it works for humans.
But, by all means - try to tell me how you always say exactly the same thing that you think, in all of your social, legal, relationship and employment situations. And how the consequences never differ for what you might merely think, versus if you were to speak what you think.

Um, awkward...lets explore this "sinning" thingy...WWJD if one guy cheated and another guy just wanted to cheat? If only the guys who roll in the realm of virtue/sin would ever make clear statements about whats in the heart...darn.
Or better yet, lets throw waay back ... how do you understand the word "covet"?

This is a bit of a derail, but regardless, you aren’t ready for this yet. You still believe that rainbows didn’t exist before Noah’s Worldwide Flood.
Figure that out first, then you can tell me about how heart tissue covets anything.

Back to you.
Hmm..how does that work? i mean, i get not speaking when you be thinking...but how do you speak something you didn't think? and i don't mean like how KG speaks about economics or any other adult topic, but how can you - for example - if you think its blue but you say its red, how did you never think of 'red' ?...how is it possible to say "red" without actually thinking of red?
(notice that it never left you...but i can wait)

Oh, there's the goalposts now... literal heart, literal mouth...lets be semantic together....is this really a brain stem discussion, whereas we settle on how heart and mouth alike serve one master and that master shall be the seat of any and all sin?
cast ye out brain stem!

Oops. Except that you didn’t say that, did you?
You asked if there can be “a difference between what is in the mind/heart and what comes out of the mouth”.
What’s embarrassing about this exchange is that your argument now seems to be trying to convince folks that you actually claim to think before you post stuff. : )

You're talking about awkward? I have never in my life seen anything more awkward than your ridiculous, clueless attempts to rationalize away Trump's narcissistic, self-serving, corrupt and pathologically dishonest behavior, of which the strongest evidence comes inadvertently from Trump's own stupid, clueless mouth and actions!
No precept or claim is more likely to be false than one that can only be supported by invoking the claim of Divine authority for it--no matter who or what claims such authority.
