These are the two I'd like to see on the ticket, but it's probably impossible.

I like both of them, and would surely vote for them, if they wound up being on the ticket. I'm not exactly sure I would prefer them over Sanders and Warren, though. It's still early, though. I will probably change my mind several times by the time of the primaries, as I learn more about each of the candidates.

I think that regarding Buttigieg and Gabbard, it may not be their time yet. From what I've watched so far of last night's debate, I really appreciated Gabbard's steel under pressure.

I don't think that Warren and Biden are philosophically compatible, but if they some how could be, I think they could swing the election. Sanders and Warren as a second choice so far.

I really, really, like Sanders. I think the man is knowledgeable, certainly experienced, and I think he's tough as nails.

I am trying to carve out time to go back and watch the debates in full. We need someone who can stand their ground and maintain dignity in debate with Trump.

I don't know if this is the wrong way to view the candidates, but I am considering what team might be best for P/VP and then looking at much of the rest as potential cabinet members. In that case, even an entrepreneur might have a place.

Sanders...

Trump is a pathological liar. I tell the truth.

I know it. I wrote the damn bill.

The man has grit. He'd state that Trump is a pathological liar right to his face.

As it should be.

oh, so you're still in therapy for "grab that pu99y" but Sanders working with Cardi B is legit because she only knowingly drugged men in order to rob them.
You guys are legit for 2020.

Hey, it could be worse. He could have palled around and worked with convicted kiddie porn addicts, as Trump has.

I'm not a Sanders fan. I imagine his role in the Democrat party is to move it left, and this election has proven him successful in doing just that. But he'd not a particularly effective Senator, nor is he someone who is going to enter the White House and move legislation forward out of Congress. My criticism of most of the candidates is that they aren't clearly someone who has that ability.

That is probably why Klobuchar is my VP pick right now. She's been one of the most effective Senators in terms of getting actual legislation moved into law. She is someone I can see taking the ideas coming from the White House and working with Congress to actually effect real change in terms of legislation. I see that as a huge plus.

Warren is difficult for me. On the one hand, I love that she approaches issues with an academic's interest in understanding them and making policy accordingly. I'm just not that inclined to the left as she is, so those policies tend to not quite land with me.

With Pete Buttigieg and Tulsi Gabbard's combat experience, they would mop the floor with Trump and Pence in a steel cage match. The same thing would happen if tested for government knowledge, general knowledge, IQ, and setting up a tent.

With Republicans controlling the Senate, wouldn't there essentially be legislative gridlock? They have proven themselves to be effective obstructionists.
