We need to look at the long journey, not six weeks ago. I find myself agreeing with universal health care, even Medicare for all at this point. If you want additional private insurance, have at it. So far as I know M4A can coexist with private insurance. Perhaps the easiest and more seamless solution would be to reform and improve the ACA<----we need to stop referring to it as Obama care and let it come through as bipartisan.

One of the valid criticisms of the participants in the last debate was their use of the phrase "taking away your private insurance." Democrats hamper themselves by using that BS phrase.

The idea is to make public insurance so great that few people would want private insurance.

It's like trying to fix Flint MI's water issue and people opposing you by saying, "You're trying to take away our lead poisoned water! We want a choice! America is about choice!"

This past week I've addressed my own family details, mental illness, three folks in the hospital one of which was me (twice), I've mentioned my own panic attacks on the heels of cardioversion, I've mentioned my family member's suicide right on this thread. We're dealing with 3 mass shootings in 2 days, including one suicide, and looking at possible solutions.

Get on topic, stop crapping on my thread and make a contribution. If you can't see your way clear to post seriously, get off my thread.

I couldn't agree with you more and I also blame the media in part for this. With regard to universal health care and private insurance.

We can have both.

Flint was a great analogy there.
