Doctor CamNC4Me wrote:The NRA has a script for this. After a public massacre the NRA recommends:
1) Say nothing as long as possible.
To be fair, why should "they" be quick to say something? or anything at all?
Doctor CamNC4Me wrote:2) When forced to comment, insult people for raising the issue: "How dare you stand on the graves of those children to put forward your political agenda?”
to be fair, this rather harsh characterization is mostly true...the related threads on this board often are often initiating and evoking a political agenda in the OP...even your comment here focuses on a political agenda via a political organization...why do you need to even discuss the NRA?
Doctor CamNC4Me wrote:3) Use friendly press to spread stories about crime that wouldn’t have happened if the victims had been armed: "two to five of those a week.”
to be fair, this is a legit rebuttal to those who use friendly press to spread stories of how gun are bad, guns are racist, and guns are misogynist...because Trump.
Doctor CamNC4Me wrote:4) Ghost write articles for pro-gun law types to publish: "with their name on it so that it looks organic."
ok, lets all just take a minute to adjust tin foil hats.
Doctor CamNC4Me wrote:5 Use social media to push videos that show how useful a gun is for self-defence. "We call it like 'the outrage of the week’."
Yes, legit rebuttals and having a broad spectrum of an issue is absurd. got it!
Doctor CamNC4Me wrote:It looks like video games are being used as a scapegoat now, too.
