Speaking of which, Mikwut takes the the stance that we can know for sure that Warren knew her Native American claims were bogus and offensive because her education as a lawyer should've clued her in. This leads us to the inescapable conclusion she was being a racist by attempting to cynically exploit minority status to give credence to her progressive politics. The lack of evidence that she even did the latter is something we just have to ignore. The important thing is this HARVARD LAWYER knew better. She's a lawyer, from Harvard.
You know what else she should've known? That her DNA test was a terrible idea. This is a US Senator with a sophisticated campaign team surrounding her that otherwise shows a great deal of electioneering savvy. They couldn't figure out this would blow up in their face? Apparently not, because she did it.
It turns out that sometimes people who seem like they should know something that is obvious to us don't actually know that thing. One might even guess that the same ignorance that led Warren to think it was cool to claim being part Cherokee and writing a cringey recipe in a cookbook also thought that taking a DNA test would be a vindicating moment for her.

Isn’t it obvious that Warren’s choice of the title, “Pow Wow Chow”, was designed to rally her cooking supporters and actively stoke their tensions while disparaging non-white and Native Americans repeatedly in front of audiences in attempts to bolster her support for election to a Federal office job three decades later? That sort of manipulation for personal gain is unprecedented.

It also just occurred to me that Warren started doing this when she was a Republican with a social conservative streak. Guess she was playing the long game.

I just had a similar thought. I'm pretty sure it was Warren's cousin who wrote the book. Warren just contributed a few recipes she got from decidedly non-Native American sources.
It was all part of her strategy to exploit woke politics decades later despite the fact that is something woke people would hate. We can infer this because she's a genius who would one day teach at Harvard.
It's not because she was a naïve women contributing to her cousin's book idea. It can't be that she just thought she was an "Indian" due to common, but misbegotten ideas about what constitutes Native American heritage.
No, either she's a horrible racist beyond the pale or we accept that the President of the United States spreading the same ideas that motivated Naziism is just some guy saying some goofy words.

Holy “F” balls.
Dude, do not ever damned pretend to be a serious poster again. Your cover is blown.
Jesus damned Christ. Substantive... yeah. Right.

No kidding; that point was responded to by both Warren, and folks here. Mikwut just has to choose to read those responses.

I'm trying to grapple with the idea that mikwut is a lawyer.
Don't lawyers have to be able to write convincing arguments? If they want to be good, shouldn't they take into account the little things like context and grammar?

LOU DOBBS (HOST): I know that it must just gladden your heart to see a bunch of demonstrators at an Immigration Customs Enforcement facility blocking the path of a guard and then complaining about the fact that he sought to do what is within his rights, which is to proceed to park his vehicle and go to work.
One of the first things a 15 year old learns on the driving exam is that pedestrians always have the right of way. And people wonder why concerned Americans want ICE shut down.
