is exactly what i said here and on the other thread. See, just like the statistical illiteracy of EA and Doc's usual go-to-condescension, you guys always want to "translate" instead of comprehend. EA used stats like a monkey uses poo. And Doc just wanted to feel good about being Doc.
But the point, is pretty clear. doesn't mean you have to agree with or like it...but "odds" are you guys will attack the messenger and ignore the message.

Why am I not surprised the inventor of "It is what it is" statistical modeling also believes in the, "I said what I meant so failure to receive the intended message is always the fault of the reader," approach to communications.

We are getting sidetracked. Let's get back to how good utah football has become.

Naw,
I literally and actually - said what i said. You are the only one who wants to insist on some imaginary behind-the-veil what i must have surely "meant".
And its not that you failed to receive the message, its that you refused to receive it.

Sure subbie, sell your communications program. It's helpful to be paranoid enough to imagine other people saying what you claim makes no sense is just them trying to take a swipe at you. Far be it from me to suggest it could be because you only make sense to yourself.

You’re welcome.

Sounds like an accurate assessment of your explanation of ‘odds and statistics’.

Let's see. My comment seems testable. So let's test it!
First, let's look at what started this to see if it is possibly due to your only making sense to yourself.

As is often the case with you, that comment makes no sense whatsoever!
Hey! That looks like Gunnar saying what you think makes sense to you actually doesn't make sense. And he suggests this is a common problem with you as well. What do you know? Turns out I was just pointing out a problem with your approach to the board. Supposing you had the capability and normal human decency to recognize this and attempt to restate your point in a way that was actually more understandable, I might be out on a limb saying you're MO is to assert the problem is the reader not you. But you've got history. Turns out this is the internet and things people say stick around for a while and can be checked.
