We've always had border laws, and we've always enforced them. This is proven by the fact that people get deported every year. How can this possibly be if laws are not being enforced?
I've made this point to Ajax over a dozen times in slightly different ways.
There's really no other area of law where you are this fanatical about ensuring that zero people successfully break the law.
I see a lot of difference between zero and 30 million. First they tell us they can't deport 30 million people (a lie). When pressed hard enough politicians on the left admit that they have no intention of building a wall or stopping the flow of illegal immigrants because in their view its immoral (and they depend on them to produce new Democrat voters). The back door to the US has been purposely left open for the last 50 years. It's sabotage against the American taxpayer.
And when the confederates saw Jackson standing fearless as a stone wall the army of Northern Virginia took courage and drove the federal army off their land.

Yes, physically putting people on the other side of the wall is the same as electrifying the wall, filling it the trench with snakes and executing any who try to cross. One of my few comforts in this is realizing that its your country you're destroying just as much as it is mine. You will all suffer for this though not as much as your posterity, perhaps even more than me.
