so, if Biden wasn't running for President nomination then investigation is acceptable... but since Biden might one day be Trump's opponent, Biden being investigated isn't justified, and his crimes should be ignored.
....

and all this without a shred of evidence that it's related to an election.... any election.
But that's cool... you guys have had great success running with hearsay, rumor, innuendo, and screams.

Looks like there are no crimes to ‘ignore’ anyway. You seem to have none to show. Looks like another one of your usual hair-fire conspiracy theories.

Ah, yes. Trump’s campaign against ‘corruption in general’ is surely what you’re alluding to. ; )

So, who or what else is being requested to be investigated by Trump these days?

Anyone else? Anyone?

I don't know when, but there will come a day where the Republican position on climate change will change from denialism and Orwellian suppression to a pitch that they and they alone can fix it. It will be sudden and as maddening as it sounds.

I'm not sure there is going to come a day, or rather a day soon enough, when Republicans roll back the authoritarianism and the corruption of liberal democratic values and institutions that comes with it.

One way to think about is going on is to imagine the counterfactual in which Democrats did not take the House. In that universe, Trump has a clear lane to doing what he got caught red-handed doing here. That would produce Republican victories which would produce further clear lanes to manipulate election outcomes.

Trump will go away, but the party mentality that welcomes this outcome? It's here to stay and just waiting for everything to line up to push the boundaries as much as possible.

This is already falling apart and will backfire on the Democrat party.

"An official confirms the whistleblower failed to disclose prior contacts with House Democrats regarding the allegations of his August 12 complaint. The box in Part 3, Question 1 of the form regarding contacts with Congress or congressional committees was unchecked and left blank. The dates of those contacts were also not disclosed as required. And the specific members and committees that were contacted were likewise not disclosed in the section requiring that information."

And while the whistleblower concealed his contacts with Schiff's committee, Schiff lied about them - claiming last month that his panel had "not spoken directly with the whistleblower." This earned Schiff four Pinocchios from the Washington Post.

"We have not spoken directly with the whistleblower. We would like to," Schiff told MSNBC's Sam Stein when asked if they had ever spoken. "But I am sure the whistleblower has concerns that he has not been advised, as the law requires, by the inspector general or the director of national Intelligence just how he is supposed to communicate with Congress, and so the risk to the whistleblower is retaliation."

Microsoft News will soon have to decide whether to change Trump stories from the Politics file to the Crime file.

Nothing is falling apart. The contents of the whistleblower complaint have been remarkably accurate, given that most of it was not observed first hand.

And would you care to count for us how many Pinocchio’s the President has earned?
