You are welcome to check the math. $98T divided by 128M households. But of course it's not workable. And it's not what is being proposed by anyone except possibly college burnouts smoking weed and bitching about their student loan debt to their buddies while playing Apex Legends. I'm just pointing out you were looking at the wrong thing by focusing on income rather than wealth. That's on top of your black fantasy regarding immigration.
Seriously, engage with reality here.

Any chance Fox News could hurry along the impeachment of both Cortez and Hillary Clinton? That haircut sounds like the best stuff it has uncovered in years.

They just skim at best. Additionally, when they do post they can't keep track of their own context, as evidenced by Ajax's do they or don't they make $250k/year posts above. Was that number what he thought they should earn, or was it a guess? Who damned knows? He rarely, if ever, clarifies because he doesn't really know anything beyond his feels.

Well, I'm hoping that he tells us more. He's mad at certain politicians who make money after office, apparently through all of the mechanisms that he admires and supports within our current economic system. But he believes that someone who is rich is incapable of dishonesty, cheating or generally being an arsehole - at least if they're registered with or favor a certain political party .... and that all folks with wealth literally busted their arse to attain it (like Eric and Don Jr., apparently).
I'm very curious to see how he rationalizes these conclusions.

I'd also still like to know what you, Ajax, believe is a fair salary for a US Congressperson?

I'm still waiting for Fox to disclose the locations of those FEMA Death Camps that their viewers were ranting about for years.

I think Ajax would benefit from reading this as well:

There's NO damned WAY he reads that, and I'd put the odds of him actually clicking on the link at about -400 on the betting line.

Look at how badly the US taxes its upper income earners:
https://www.independent.co.uk/news/worl ... 48746.html
US billionaires pay lower tax rate than working class for first time in history
Richest 400 families paid tax at rate 1.2 per cent less than bottom half of American households
A new book-length study on the tax burden of the ultra-rich begins with a startling finding: In 2018, for the first time in history, America’s richest billionaires paid a lower effective tax rate than the working class.
“The Triumph of Injustice,” by economists Emmanuel Saez and Gabriel Zucman of the University of California at Berkeley, presents a first-of-its kind analysis of Americans’ effective tax rates since the 1960s. It finds that in 2018 the average effective tax rate paid by the richest 400 families in the country was 23 per cent, a full percentage point lower than the 24.2 per cent rate paid by the bottom half of American households.
In 1980, by contrast, the 400 richest had an effective tax rate of 47 per cent. In 1960, their tax rate was as high as 56 per cent. The effective tax rate paid by the bottom 50 per cent, by contrast, has changed little over time.
The analysis differs from many other published estimates of tax burdens by encompassing the totality of taxes Americans pay: not just federal income taxes but also corporate taxes, as well as taxes paid at the state and local levels. It also includes the burden of about $250 billion (£204 billion) of what Mr Saez and Mr Zucman call “indirect taxes,” such as licenses for motor vehicles and businesses.
The analysis, which was the subject of a column in The New York Times on Monday, is also notable for the detailed breakdown of the tax burden of not just the top 1 per cent but also the top 0.1 per cent, the top 0.01 per cent and the 400 richest households.

Canpakes,
The word count for your quote stands at 307. That's too much for the people that need to read that and comprehend it. I've reworked the article down to a manageable size for Ajax, Subgenius, and probably Ceeboo.
IN 1960 and 1980 AMERICA WAS #1 IN THE WORLD FOR EVERYTHING. THEIR TAX RATES HELPED US MAINTAIN DOMINANCE. WE DOMINATED AND WERE THE BEST.

WE NEED TO GET THEIR TAX RATES BACK TO SANE LEVELS.

In 1980, THEY PAID 47%
In 1960 THEY PAID 56%

Guys, Ajax thinks that Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez's platfrom is stripping him of his wealth to give it to Latinos. What makes him tick isn't an understanding of the numbers.
