Quite frankly, the last thing I want for Trump is to die. I don't want to see him take a shortcut from justice.

I completely understand this sentiment, but it assumes Trump will actually see justice. I have my doubts.

I know I'm posting into the wind, but is there a point where even people on the Right can see he's a clear and present danger to our country? No?

And over the weekend, State and Energy Department officials were quietly reviewing plans for evacuating roughly 50 tactical nuclear weapons that the United States had long stored, under American control, at Incirlik Air Base in Turkey, about 250 miles from the Syrian border, according to two American officials.

Those weapons, one senior official said, were now essentially Erdogan’s hostages. To fly them out of Incirlik would be to mark the de facto end of the Turkish-American alliance. To keep them there, though, is to perpetuate a nuclear vulnerability that should have been eliminated years ago.

“I think this is a first — a country with U.S. nuclear weapons stationed in it literally firing artillery at US forces,” Jeffrey Lewis of the James Martin Center for Nonproliferation Studies wrote last week.

On a serious note he’ll keep doing what he’s doing. Trump is essentially stateless. When you’re talking about billionaires you’re talking about people who view the state as an impediment to their aims.

Now, someone like subgenius or ajax18, won’t comprehend what I’m saying, but I’ll give it a shot anyway. Think about money being the magic thing that can extend your life by a second. One dollar in your bank account equals one second of extended life starting now.

1 million seconds equal 11 and 1/2 days.

1 billion seconds equal 31 and 3/4 years.

That's the difference between a millionaire and a billionaire. You can get to the point where you have so much money you never look at price tags again and not be a billionaire.

Now think about the fact that there are billionaires out there who have several billion, tens of billions, and one can only form the conclusion that to be a billionaire, to be swimming in money while schools struggle to get funding, or people get bankrupted by medical bills, you have to be a raging sociopath. The state is simply the vehicle through which they pacify and then utilize the masses systemically. American exceptionalism is a salve our Grifter in Chief peddles while he pursues his and other billionaires’ agendas.

And the worst thing is people like subgenius or ajax18 defend this, because they see themselves not as middle or working class but as "temporarily embarrassed billionaires" to the point that they identify more with these people than the hurt, the suffering, and the dying.

So, what does Trump do next? He simply decides he’s above the law because he’s always been above the law. He’s above morality because he’s never been subject to a consequence he didn’t engineer. He brags about not paying taxes, or sexual assault, or whatever. Why? That money buys a freedom we’ll never comprehend, and it builds allegiances that are far from our flag. Anything that falls outside this reality of networking or sycophancy is deemed a threat and labelled an enemy, because Trump and his ilk are the state. Not an idea. Not an elected government. Him. Billionaire strongmen. They’re the state, and nationalism is just tribalism where warlords hand out a few seconds here there, as they see fit, if it furthers their interests.

It’s a step backward, in the worst possible way.
