What a great example of the fruit’s of Mopology. On one hand, we have the Mopologists like kiwi57, Midgley and Peter$on who are angry, cruel, bitter and miserable. On the other hand, we have kind, gentle, tolerant, intelligent and happy people like David Bokovoy and Stem.
If you had to choose, who would you rather have as a neighbor? Who would you entrust your family with? Who better exemplifies the Savior?
Mopology is rotten to the core and corrupts everyone that worships at its altar.

Nope!
(You probably realize I was being sarcastic, but) allow me to reword. That's good enough for Louis Midgley, don't you think?
"Finally, for your rather strange idea that miracles are somehow linked to the amount of gay sexual gratification that is taking place would require that primitive Christianity was launched by gay sex, would it not?"

David Bokovoy wrote:Hey. This is David Bokovoy here. Someone just sent me a PM on this thread. I haven't read the original post nor have I read more than a couple of the comments, and I'm not going to. I spent the evening playing Rock and Roll and the blues with my band, and I'm now sitting here enjoying a cold beer with friends. Life is so good. I encourage you all to move on and be peaceful and loving.
In terms of Midgley's assessment that I am an apostate, I'm not sure that his title is completely accurate. It is certainly true that he and I once attended the same church, but I'm convinced we never practiced the same religion.
Everyone be good to each other.

Would be fun to hear him play... and have some beers with him......I am thrilled to hear he is doing well.

"Dr. Peterson and his Callithumpian cabal of BYU idiots have been marginalized by their own inevitable irrelevancy defending a fraud."
Let's hope Mr. Midgley doesn't see this remark about drinking beer.
Honestly though, I wonder what is more apostate, drinking an occasional beer or denying the reality of a Global Flood?
I think that denying the Global Flood puts one in a far more vulnerable position to apostatize than having a beer. Sure, some go the route of compromise, but they don't see the endgame of that compromise, and they don't consider how widely others following that same logic will shed themselves of the grounding principle of faith.
I look to my family and extended family including cousins on both sides. There has been a fair amount of apostasy in my extended family due to alcohol and lifestyle, but I'm not aware of any who don't deep down believe its all true, and most to my knowledge have become active again in middle age. I'm pretty sure all would select "global flood" on a multiple choice test.
