There's a lot of different arguments being thrown at the wall at the moment. A related one to this is that impeachment overturns the results of an election and therefore is illegitimate.

This is more Republican projection. They know the election was influenced by the Russians, and isn't necessarily legitimate. That's why they keep harping on "they want to overturn the results of a democratically held election."

Just like Trump, when the GOP lies about the Democrats, they're admitting their own guilty feelings.

The best is this accusation of "Soviet style inquiry." Why don't you just come out and admit you're damned lying?

The GOP lies like idiots, because they know their base are idiots. They don't lie to fool anyone other than their own base. If that is their goal, they are as stupid as their base, because only their base could believe their BS.

The dude could not open his mouth without saying something wrong or stupid, and that's because he's fully immersed in right wing nonsense.

The Russia story and the Ukraine story are the same story. I don't mean that in the sense that they both involve foreign election interference. I mean it's the same corrupt people involved. It's essentially a singular organized crime story.

I'd recommend reading some of the recently released Mueller documents. The evidence is even worse than the Mueller report made it seem, which already was unconscionable. Mueller appears to have been extremely cautious in his conclusions. I don't know how you can read those primary sources and not conclude Democrats should've used that report to springboard an impeachment inquiry to get at and detail out this kind of information. They still can, but they already should have.
