Besides, according to Federal Law, saying "Ok Boomer" qualifies as creating a hostile work environment since a person cannot discriminate based upon age. Whereas this same protection in the workplace is not applicable to those under the age of 40 (believe it because it is true). So yes, a millennial saying "Ok Boomer" at work can get them fired and possibly the company sued, just like saying "Ok Mexican" , "Ok Woman", or "Ok Jew".

Subgenius, as usual, garbles the legal analysis. Saying “Ok Boomer” to an older employee, in and of itself, is not a hostile work environment. More importantly, he confuses federal anti-discrimination law with an employer’s right to fire an employee. With some exceptions not relevant here, employment is “at-will.” An employer can fire an employee who is rude or discourteous to another employee regardless of federal law. Being an asshole toward another employee can get you fired regardless of age, race, religion, sex, etc.
