So why is it considered anti-Semitic to say something against the Jews?

Just like stealing your religion, your homes, your money, and businesses, some Jews also love stealing names, inheritances and land.

Shem is the son of Noah, who built the ark when Mesopotamia flooded. The Sumerian kingdom was destroyed by the flood and the Semites descended from the Caucasian mountains to establish the Akkadian empire. Shem would have children and one of his descendants would be named Eber.

Eber = Hebrew

Eber would be the father of the Hebrew people and the Semites would be called by his name.

Eber’s line would eventually give birth to a man named Abram, or a Jew named Abraham.

Except Abraham has never been a Jew nor will he ever be a Jew and to call Abraham a Jew is just plain ignorant.

So let’s go through it slowly.

According to the Bible, Abraham was a Hebrew, not a Jew (Genesis 14:13) and God promised he would be the father of many nations, not one single Jewish nation, but many nations. Through Abraham, all the families on Earth would be blessed (Genesis 12:3).

Abraham would pass this blessing down to his son Isaac and NOT his eldest son Ishmael. Isaac would have twin sons named Esau and Jacob, and again the Abrahamic blessing would be passed down to the younger brother, Jacob, who would then be renamed to Israel.

Israel would have 12 sons, each becoming their own tribe, and eventually becoming their own nation. One of his sons would be named Judah, the father of the Jewish people.

All Jews are related to him.

Even though all Jews are Israelites, the majority of Israelites are not Jewish.

Obviously Israel would have to pass the Abrahamic blessing to Judah in order for Jews to be the chosen people.

Israel wanted his favorite son Joseph to inherit the Abrahamic blessing, however Judah, the father of the Jews would become jealous and conspire with his brothers to have Joseph killed. In the end, Judah sold Joseph into slavery for silver, much like Judas sold Jesus to the Jews.

The Bible portrays Judah as a jealous villain and Joseph as the chosen son.

While in slavery, Joseph would rise to become the Prime Minister of Egypt and father two sons, Ephraim and Manasseh. Israel adopted Joseph’s sons and passed the Abrahamic blessing on to them, making them the chosen people and dividing Joseph’s tribe into two - making 13 tribes of Israel.

As for the father of the Jews, his two eldest sons die and Judah would end up bowing down to Joseph.

Now that you understand that the Jews were never intended to bless the world, nor were they ever considered the chosen people, we can move on to my second point.

Is the Jewish homeland Israel?

The answer is: Yes, and Not at All.

Israel was originally called the land of Canaan, named after Noah’s grandson Canaan.

The land of Canaan was conquered by the Israelites after they left Egypt with Moses, as detailed in the book of Exodus. The Bible says God commanded the Israelites to punish the Canaanites for their sexual immorality, which eventually led to child sacrifice, which eventually led to cannibalism. The word Cannibal comes from the words Canaan + Baal.

Baal was the god of Canaan, and the Canaanite priests were known for eating the children after they were sacrificed to him. So now that you know what kind of people the Canaanites were, try not to feel so bad when you read that God ordered us to exterminate them.

The borders of the Jewish homeland were established by Joshua, who was one of the descendants of Joseph, and not from Judah. If we were to restore the Jews to their original land, according to the Bible, the Jewish homeland would like this:

Image

Like the story of Joseph and Judah, their children would likewise not get along and after becoming nations there would be a Civil War. The Jews would rule the southern kingdom of Judea while Joseph’s sons would rule the northern Kingdom and keep the name Israel.

Image

They would have different religions, believing in different Gods, and while Judah stayed in Judea Joseph would ally himself with the Phoenicians and establish colonies and trade posts all over the Mediterranean. The Kingdom of Israel would later be corrupted by foreign ideology, and like the Canaanites, would fall to materialism, sexual immorality, and child sacrifice which would lead to them being conquered by the Assyrian empire.

Some of the Israelites would be taken into captivity in the lands of Assyria and elsewhere, some would flee to the colonies and trade posts, fulfilling the promise made to Abraham (Genesis 15:5)

The sons of Joseph would be fruitful and multiply among the nations, forgetting who they were, which shouldn’t be a surprise given their names literally mean “Fruitful” and “Forgetful”.

Just like the northern Kingdom, the Jews would fall into sexual immorality, child sacrifice, and be conquered and enslaved by the Babylonians. They would be freed and reestablished by the Persians, conquered again by the Greeks, and later occupied by the Romans. While under Roman rule, the Jews would launch the greatest revolution in Roman history, known as The Great Revolt, which would fail causing Judea, Jerusalem, and the Jewish temple to be destroyed ironically fulfilling everything Jesus and the Christians said was going to happen.

The Jews, not being satisfied with losing their temple and homeland, would stab the Romans in the back by launching two more rebellions killing over 500,000 Greeks and Romans.

God would bless the Chosen People with two more humiliating defeats (Kitos War, Bar Kokhba revolt) along with a banishment from the land causing Judea to be renamed to Syria Palaestina.

The reason the Jews have been able to take Palestine really rests on the fact that they’ve stolen the name Israel, convinced many Christians in the West that they are the Chosen people, and that they alone are Israel.

We can see that this just isn’t true. Which brings us to our third point.

Do the Jews believe in the Old Testament?

The answer is: kind of, but not really.

While waving around the Old Testament as if they believe in it, the Jews have secondary books that are “just as important”, mainly the Talmud. To explain the Talmud, we have to understand some basic Jewish Roman history dating back to Emperor Claudius, who like Emperor Tiberius, tried to ban Jews from Rome after branding them enemy combatants. Sadly, Emperor Claudius did not know how to play the Game of Thrones and was murdered. His successor, Emperor Nero, would lift the Jewish ban, which shouldn’t surprise us considering the Talmud tells us he was a Jewish convert.

Nero and his Jews would engage in some of the most barbaric acts known to man. Just to give you one example of how crazy this Jewish Roman Emperor was, he would burn down Rome and blame it on the Christians causing them to be tortured and killed in the worst ways imaginable. He murdered his entire family, kicked his pregnant wife and unborn child to death, and then castrated a young boy named Sporus and forced him to dress like the wife he had just murdered.

With the coming of Jesus, the Jews would divide into two main groups. Those that believed that Jesus was the Messiah (New Covenant), and the other group of Jews (Pharisees) who believe in the Talmud and claimed that their messiah would come wielding a sword to destroy the Romans, paving a way for a Jewish Empire. Which is what led the Jews to revolt against Rome in the first place. That, and they just didn’t want to pay taxes.

After their failed rebellions, the Jews would retreat to Babylon and create the religion we know today as Judaism. Interestingly enough, this makes Christianity about 200 years older than Judaism.

The Talmud preaches such love that it calls the mother of Jesus a whore and calling Jesus a bastard sorcerer who is in hell boiling in human crap. Which leads us to our fourth point.

Is the Old Testament about Jews?

The answer is: No, not really.

Because Jews had stolen the name Israel, most people would never guess that the majority of the people in the Bible are not Jewish. The apostle Paul, for instance, even he is called a Jew and he deliberately separates himself from the Jews and identifies as an “Israelite, of the seed of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin.” (Romans 11:1)

The Bible also says Paul was sent to preach among the “Israelites” and funny enough, Pauls ministry wasn’t in Judea. He was sent to preach to the Galatians in Asia Minor, the Greeks in Greece, and the Romans in Rome. The Bible constantly refers to the distinction between the Kingdom of Israel and the Kingdom of Judah, and Joseph and Judah.

The entire Jewish deception and highjacking of the Bible depends on them stealing the terms:

Semites
Hebrews
Israelites

For example, Moses, the man who wrote the first five books, known as the Torah, did not come from the tribe of Judah, nor was he part of the kingdom of Judea, yet somehow he is claimed to be a Jew.

The reality here is the majority of the people in the Old Testament are not Jewish.

Samson - tribe of Dan
Deborah - tribe of Ephraim
Gideon - tribe of Manasseh
Elijah - tribe of Gad or Manasseh
Elisha - tribe of Issachar
Joshua - tribe of Ephraim
Aaron - tribe of Levi
Moses - tribe of Levi
Samuel - tribe of Ephraim

The Bible is a history of many nations and peoples, like the:

Semites
Hebrews
Israelites
Egyptians
Phoenicians
Babylonians
Assyrians
Armenians
Persians
Greeks
Romans, and many others.

It is not only about Jews. Which brings us to our last point.

Smokey, when do you think human history started? Rough year or time span would be fine.

Britannica wrote:The term anti-Semitism was coined in 1879 by the German agitator Wilhelm Marr to designate the anti-Jewish campaigns under way in central Europe at that time. Although the term now has wide currency, it is a misnomer, since it implies a discrimination against all Semites. Arabs and other peoples are also Semites, and yet they are not the targets of anti-Semitism as it is usually understood.

As I said, explain that to Nephi, not us.

(fyi: we all know the basic Old Testament narrative, although it's been mildly entertaining watching you expound upon the Children's Bible as if you're a college professor. Nobody in the real world believes that Abraham and Isaac even existed let alone gives credibility to any of their fictional deals gone bad. And no, there was no ark, sorry.)
Lou Midgley 08/20/2020: "...meat wad," and "cockroach" are pithy descriptions of human beings used by gemli? They were not fashioned by Professor Peterson.

LM 11/23/2018: one can explain away the soul of human beings...as...a Meat Unit, to use Professor Peterson's clever derogatory description of gemli's ideology.

QFT.

Smokes proudly trots out grade-school-level facts that he has seemingly just discovered as if he expects to be educating others on what he was too lazy to learn about decades ago.

It was almost painful to watch him preface one of his posts about Nazis having also killed Christians!!1! in between their scheduled massacre of millions of other folks, with the phrase "Did you know ..." o_O

And then we get this:

My favorite was the idea Jesus "and the Christians" predicted the destruction of the temple. I get why a Mormon would be so naïve as to imagine the New Testament writings were prophecies written prior to the event like the prediction of Columbus in the Book of Mormon. Or the Isaiah "prophesy" of Cyrus of Persia freeing the Jews. Still, the phrasing was hilarious to me.

What an odd thing to write. Who do you imagine my people are?

I just want to remind you that a disproportionate amount of anti-Mormons are Jewish. Let’s continue.

As I said, explain that to Nephi, not us.

Gladly. I was getting there. I don’t think anyone would blame me for assuming you’re uninformed and wanting to establish some context.

Nephi clearly says that he is of the tribe of Joseph. This is in the very first book. Of course you haven’t read it, but it’s there plain as day in Chapter 6.

Your mistake, wherein you furiously searched LDS.org for the keyword Jew and posted a quote you think is talking about your people, is not one an honest and informed person would make.

After being conquered again and again, of course the citizens of the kingdom of Judah were not all Jews, but were citizens of the kingdom of Judah in exactly the same way Nephi declared himself a Jew in his parting testimony: “I have charity for the Jew—I say Jew, because I mean them from whence I came.” (2 Ne. 33:8)

I’m not going to list all the references in a Book you don’t believe and have never read, but rest assured, it is very clear which tribe Lehi and his sons descend from. It is certainly not Judah. Nephi is certainly no Talmudist. LOL

Although you LARP here as the bisexual professor of a satirical university in a decade long joke (SO hilarious, by the way, and not at all contrived) to make fun of the Mopologists, you don’t need to be a real college professor to understand these most basic and simple historical timelines.

You don’t need to be a BYU professor to know that Nephi is not of the tribe of Judah, nor do you need to be a linguistic specialist to understand that anti-Semite means being against the people of Shem, literal translation: Against Shem, or Against Semites, which are not the Jews in any Bible - Children’s or other.

It’s standard Christian Identity propaganda. It’s so at odds with LDS theology, that I’m beginning to think he’s not LDS.

The majority of actual anti-Mormon writing comes out of fundamentalist Christianity trying to minister against the cult of a false Jesus.
