Yup. That's the problem with today's Nazis. At least the old sort was fairly clever at being Nazis (well, it was rather easier when people had not yet seen where Nazism was leading them ...).

Nah. No they weren't. The clown brigade that are today's Nazis are pretty similar to OG Nazis. Smokey's style of engaging people so so classic Nazi it's like he read a manual. And there were lots of warnings about where Nazis were headed with mainstream elites continuing to pooh pooh that as an alarmist reading of cynical rhetoric while also having a misplaced faith in the conservative establishment to keep them in check. Take Hitler seriously, not literally...

The Achilles heel of Nazi-types is that the core group they are attractive too are a bunch of people whose thinking is broken. Unfortunately, that doesn't mean they can't gain control in a society.
