Stuff I never thought I’d live to see.

Conservative Talk Radio station broadcasts Russian Government propaganda. https://www.kansascity.com/news/local/a ... 59868.html

You’ve come a long way, comrades.

How would these rebroadcasts of Russian state-owned media differ from Fox News?

The lease agreement lets RM Broadcasting air its programming from 6 to 9 a.m. and 6 to 9 p.m. seven days a week.

Those are prime radio slots when people are driving. Wow. I thought maybe they were allowing late night programming or some time on the weekends maybe.

This is where I feel the station may be vulnerable. Start a boycott of the advertisers sponsoring 6-9am. Drive time is the holiday shopping season of radio, where stations make a lot of their revenue. How many advertisers in Kansas City want to issue a public statement as to why they are supporting Russian Propaganda?

When battling Communism or Fascism, people used to speak of the Fifth Column. Maybe it's time to bring back that expression.

“White Rabbit” used in a commercial to sell cruises.

You have to admit, the lyrics fit the environment:

Oh, a storm is threat'ning
My very life today
If I don't get some shelter
Oh yeah, I'm gonna fade away
War, children, it's just a shot away

It doesn't seem as intellectually dishonest as, for example, Nike using the Beatles' Revolution to sell sneakers.

And I'm sure the Stones all need the money ;-)

Now that Russia is an integral part of the Republican party, it makes sense that conservative radio stations would like to broadcasts some of their programs. Station owners would probably get incentivized gifts from the oligarchs and in exchange could help launder some cash.
