Can you give a link to where Bill Kristol praised Pelosi and Schiff? I would be interested in seeing or hearing exactly what he said. I have googled it, but I am not sure which, if any, of the things I found so far is the one on which you based that claim.
No precept or claim is more likely to be false than one that can only be supported by invoking the claim of Divine authority for it--no matter who or what claims such authority.

Or, in other words, the constitution itself is unconstitutional and violates itself!

That appears to be their defense. Trump's Twitter feed supersedes the constitution as the foundation of our legal system.

I can understand where Republicans are coming from: If you allow evidence of Trump's crimes, it will just be used against him.

It's not the place of the Senate to retry this case. It's their job under the constitution to fix this egregious partisan error put forth by the House.

This is basically another Hannity talking point. Hannity has flipped flopped on his interpretation of the Constitution between Presidents Obama and Trump. For example, Hannity believed that only Congress had the power of the purse under Obama. But under Trump, Hannity urged Trump to declare a National emergency under a very likely unconstitutional law, so that Trump would be able to use the power of the purse to build his border wall.

Anyway, every past Impeachment trial has had witnesses.

This is another thread where ajax's BS is on loud display. Isn't religion supposed to make a person more honest? Or is he going to church to help cure his dishonesty; is he still a work in progress? If so, he might try a different brand. His isn't working.

Of course, if the religion itself makes regular use of BS, it might not be the best tool to cure your own. It's hard to clean a window with muddy water.

Given that there's no such prohibition (were you awake in 2016?), perhaps you meant to say that no-one is stupid enough to waste their money, time and reputation chasing a 'corruption charge' that has no basis in reality.

Sure there is a prohibition. If someone needing to be investigated is running for president, a call for an investigation means the current administration is using the office of the president to gain political advantage. This shouldn't be a prohibition but this is how the Democrats are using it.
And when the confederates saw Jackson standing fearless as a stone wall the army of Northern Virginia took courage and drove the federal army off their land.

Again, you do remember 2016, and that whole Hillary thing, right? She was under active investigation by the FBI during the campaign.

To repeat, there is no prohibition on investigating a candidate. Makes you wonder why Republicans won’t launch any serious investigation into either Biden. They know what they won’t find, and they know that the suggestion of a crime without actual evidence is all that’s needed to dupe the Base into repeating the same.

Each member of Trump's defense team will get this award once things wrap up:
