Just in case you missed it...

Post by _Markk »

Having a nine year old choose the secretary of education...this might just be the reason that the left wants witnesses, to tie up Warren and Bernie from campaigning.

When I was nine I was just trying to get my mom to let me get a real pair of button up Levi's, a Beatles hair cut, and a Schwinn Stingray, let alone picking the presidents cabinet member. Don't ever call Trump a loon in light of this one, you have no deeper datum for absolute stupidity, the stupid meter just maxed out. I can't stop laughing at this one...are you kidding me...google the video...she was serious, and what is more scary is people actually cheered?

We have a president that was basically a game show host, a narcissist, and billionaire playboy, who couldn't get beat by a nasty mean vindictive woman, and now we have a candidate that wants children picking their cabinet, another old man who wants to spend 10 trillion dollars a year, when we only bring in 4, and just had a heart attack, and a old guy that said he wants a younger VP because he might die.

Trump can still be a loon and make tremendously bad cabinet picks regardless of how loony you think that Warren or anyone else might be.

Besides, you’re mischaracterizing Warren’s statement. She’s not saying that a 9-year-old will choose the Education Secretary. I’d expect that a solid vetting rationale would create a pool of candidates first. The ‘trans test’ proposed here would then apply to that pool of pre-qualified candidates, any of whom could be outstanding choices and/or better picks than the current office-holder.

C’mon, you know how this would work. Don’t go Full Fox on us. ; )

The child in the end will make the choice....listen to what she said...

Good luck spinning this one.

Don’t play dumb. You’re the one spinning this.

If I have 6 excellent candidates pre-vetted that would all be great picks for the office, and a trans child makes a final determination between them by choosing which of the six takes the position, why is that loony, or bad?

The current guy makes his picks based on how much flattery he receives from the candidate, or how much they helped his campaign. I don’t see that as a superior selection methodology.

Canpakes,

That was just looney tunes pandering to the hard Left or social justice types. No adult in their right mind would ever allow a 9-year-old to be involved in a national level appointment. That whole trans kid display was weird, surreal, and frankly deeply problematic on about 20 different levels. If I were you I wouldn't certainly wouldn't try to spin this in any way except for it being absolutely retarded.

Holy “F” balls, Markk. She was talking to a kid. Have you ever spoken to a child before? You say crap, and the fact that the kid asked a reasonable and intelligent question made him worth responding to with respect.

If you think Warren was going to ask this kid to actually make the call on the next Sec of Education, you're on crack. She may actually ask his opinion, and that would be kind of cool. But if she were actually President, she'd be deciding that crap.

And if you think this rises even close to the level of Trump's malfeasance, there's no redeeming you. You are a horrible judge of character.

Yes.

Think about what you’re suggesting, Jersey Girl. Say President Trump needed to choose a new SecDef, and he’s settled on six Generals/Admirals. He brings in a little boy or girl that’s loves the military. The final choice is left up to the child, and not a quorum of adults responsible for a host of regulatory, fiscal, social, political, and policy issues. It’s up to a kid, instead.

This, but for education, is a good idea to you?
