Re: I'm Giving in to Political Burnout
I have a hard time taking pleasure in a painful death on anyone. Seeing criminals get the death penalty doesn't fill me with satisfaction like it does some people. Limbaugh dying of lung cancer when he spent his entire career as a tobacco company defender downplaying and misleading his audience about the risks of tobacco smoke is about as tempting as it gets. Yet I still instinctively just think, "what a waste."

His death doesn't have to be painful.
God belief is for people who don't want to live life on the universe's terms.

He has stage 4 lung cancer. Either he's gonna go through some bad pain at some point, get a heavy palliative care focus now until the end, or commit suicide.

Oh, crossed wires. I was thinking of the other thread and talking about Trump.
I didn't know Limbaugh had cancer. I can't find any sympathy for him though. He probably didn't take his meds to just exaggerate his illness.

Maybe he’ll just get back on those pills he used to abuse.

Now that I've slept on it, I think it's fair to say that Rush got what's coming to him. This is the closest the country will get to justice for his BS.
I can't find any sympathy for a person who influenced so many people to believe nonsense. The last thing I remember hearing him say was how the left was obsessed with "consent" (which is true. Rapeblicans think consent is for losers).
He should experience some excruciating pain.

You really need help. The sad thing for you is that you feeling this way doesn't effect Rush at all. It only hurts your own spiritual well being. I hope you can clean up your mind before it's too late. You won't like the kind of people you'll be surrounded with if you pass on to the spirit world in your current state. If segregation bothers you here on earth, you're really going to miserable in the spirit world.
And when the confederates saw Jackson standing fearless as a stone wall the army of Northern Virginia took courage and drove the federal army off their land.

Given that Rush built a multi-decade career doing little more than fomenting anger, namecalling, promoting vindictiveness, and generally calling up the worst from within his audience, then it would seem that his time in the ‘spirit world’ will be far worse than Schmo’s.

Eighteen percent of the population controls 52 Senate seats, and just handed a thoroughly corrupt, venal, narcissist man carte blanche to railroad his way through the Presidency. I can see why politics induces burnout, especially when checks and balances are done away with.

This all depends on if you think evil people should suffer and die. I don't, but I suspect you do, so you probably shouldn't cast stones here?
