HAPPY BIRTHDAY, A-CHAN!

Post by _Dr. Shades »

Dear participants:

Today, February 15, marks the 31st birthday of Ayaka Nishiwaki, stage name "A-Chan." For those who are unfamiliar, she is 1/3 of "Perfume," the official Japanese electro-pop group of MormonDiscussions.com.

She is the one whose idea it was to form Perfume in the first place, almost exactly 20 years ago. And what a fantastic idea it turned out to be! Her personality is upbeat, positive, and exuberant; one person who met them all in person described her as "a force of nature."

Japan is 16 hours ahead of Utah time, so she celebrated her birthday by performing a show in Nagoya, Japan (as detailed in the other thread). I wonder what sort of recognition her bandmates, and the crowd, gave her; I'm sure it was something fun.

So, if anyone would like to add their birthday best wishes, this thread is the place to do so.

Once more, a huge HAPPY BIRTHDAY, A-CHAN!

Happy Birthday!
