I was more referring to you quoting me and then replying to my post within the quotes without any indication of where my thoughts ended and yours began. Thanks for correcting the typos though... I guess.Markk wrote:It's pretty basic from my last post to you...I had a few typos I cleaned up
Point taken, I'm still unsure how much of his support stems from the anti-Trump postering and how much comes from the obscene amount of money he is throwing at the issue. My personal experience tends to have me leaning towards the latter but that is nothing but anecdotal.EAllusion wrote:In fairness, Tom Steyer is out there not being Bloomberg. Some of his viability is because he's campaigning as a firebrand against Trump when other Democrats are not and Democrats want, above all else, someone to take on Trump.
Warren is really the only other candidate campaigning directly against Trump's corruption, but she is hurt by being perceived as a weaker general election candidate.
Ain't that the truth.EAllusion wrote:Kinda sucks to watch Elizabeth Warren straight murder people and realize that what Bernie Bros imagine happens to Sanders actually happened to her.

I had literally zero expectation that you would back that up and somehow I was still disappointed. You've done nothing to show that she personally interfered to get her old firm the gig, that there were more qualified groups to do the work that got passed up, that her old firm didn't deliver on the expected work, or any number of things that would make the earmark appear anything other than standard procurement and distribution of government dollars. Sure we can argue that earmarks suck and that the super rich game the system for more which also sucks but that doesn't really have much to do with the Senator specifically.
As to the other topic I haven't seen enough good faith effort from you (on this thread or elsewhere) to merit investing time in exploring the ideas of honesty in politics with you. Another time perhaps, I give you the last word.

Sanders did it through book sales and royalties. It's all in his tax returns. He's still one of the least wealthy senators.
