It's getting real.

I’m still not sure I understand what happened there. I read something about a mislabeled test and something about two negative tests followed by a positive. There have been reports of the latter happening, but I don’t think I’ve seen evidence that those folks were contagious.

You know I was thinking are we really well positioned? What about troops returning from deployment to the ME? We're ass deep in military bases over here.

The closest case to us so far is San Antonio. Air Force boot used to be in San Antonio. I don't know if that's still the case.

Remaining hopeful here.

I guess I was thinking more about the ability to isolate from community contact if necessary. I don’t think medium to large cities will escape this thing. But I was thinking you’re more rural. How often do you need to have outside contact?

Ah, I can’t keep up. Never heard about the closures in Puyallup. I guess there are about a dozen closed for cleaning.

ETA: do they have family or friends close by in the event they need to isolate? To get groceries, do errands, etc?

NYC ER doctor: I have to ‘plead to test people’ for coronavirus

Dr. Scott Gottlieb, member of the boards of Pfizer and biotech company Illumina and former FDA commissioner, and Dr. Matt McCarthy, an infectious disease physician, join “Squawk Box” to discuss the latest on the coronavirus outbreak.

tl;my wife - CDC dropping ball, doc claims there'll be thousands of cases by middle of next week because CDC sucks ass. Only 32 people tested in NY state, while some countries are testing 10,000 a day. Vaccine a year or two away. ** CONSPIRACY ALERT** The Administration stating that we can go about our regular lifestyle is not true.

Well. At least we can supplicate Elohim for help:

Oh yeah, we're isolated alright. Out in the sticks and pretty well self sustained if we need to be like we always are this time of year. We have stuff you don't even want to know about. ;-) The only thing I need to do is top off the food stash here and there, and if worse comes to worse I can always do online ordering and pickup outside the store. So yeah, we can avoid community contact if we need to.
