I have heard it said that the bacteria residing in a typical human mouth can be as or more dangerous and infectious than what emerges from the opposite end of our digestive tract.
No precept or claim is more likely to be false than one that can only be supported by invoking the claim of Divine authority for it--no matter who or what claims such authority.

Colored Pencil Dragon for my Daughter

Post by _Philo Sofee »

My daughter writes fiction and loves dragons, and has many great stories about them. I colored this dragon a couple years ago for her in a medium I rarely use, colored pencils.

I've been told that paramedics treat human bites much more urgently than dog bites because of an increased risk of infection. That intuitively makes sense to me, since if something bad can set up shop in one human, it can in another. I wouldn't think cross species infection would be as common (he says as COVID-19 is happening) just based on the amount of direct contact alone.

Of course, the outbreak is happening because humans are now spreading it to each other, not picking it up from animals (unless certain animals are apt hosts too, I suppose).

Yeah man, you really do have artistic talent.

I'm glad all the threads were joined, although I'm surprised Shades didn't make them all one post... (BOOM! Shades slam! Purely out of love.)

I will agree with others that a better style (font) of lettering would be preferable for your cartoons, but I can also imagine it a style thing.

Yes that one is digital art. I hid a human face in it. It was a complete flop over on Imgur. Oh well, can't please em all, and no need to. OK, so the finger oil painted sunset coming up!

The back story to this finger painted oil painting of a sunset. The last night before I earned my Bachelor's degree. I had read the book 8 times. I KNEW the materials. But for once, I couldn't sleep. So I started to doodle with oil paints and saw a gorgeous picture of this sunset and just started letting my fingers slide, and by 6 a.m. there it was! True story. I then went to school (commuting 45 miles! with no sleep!) and did fabulous on the final, got my Bachelor's and a proud owner of a sunset painting. I took the wet painting with me and showed my professor, and it astounded him. Dunno if it was because I got no sleep, and still managed to show up, or did so well on the test..... Aw man.... this photo does NOT do justice to the painting. Dunno why it is so dim.....oh well, you get the point.

I can imagine Philo Sofee as an actor and be in a comedy movie.
