Not that I really care about him in any conceivable way, but it bears reminding that when Hunter Biden was appointed to the board of Burisma in 2014, he was:

1) a lawyer at the firm Boies Schiller Flexner

2) an adjunct professor at Georgetown University's foreign service program

3) chairman of the board of World Food Program USA

4) CEO and chairman of Rosemont Seneca Advisors

I think he was on some other boards at the time, too.

Pre-VP dad, Hunter Biden graduated from the Yale Law School, and worked as a lobbyist as a partner at some firm ~2001. Before that, he worked for MBNA, rising to senior VP and worked for the US Commerce Department.

Hunter Biden acknowledged he would "probably not" have been asked to be on the board if he were not a Biden, but his hiring has been explained at least two or three times now.

My point? His pay wasn’t outrageous for his position and experience.

1) He had no experience in Natural Gas
2) Does not speak Ukrainian
3) He had a decades long History of Drug and alcohol problems, including Crack...in fact he was given a special commission to the Navy (Reserve) despite his past drug issues... for testing positive for Cocaine. His defense was that he mistakenly smoked it unwittingly from a laced cigarette.
4) Was involved is a shady hedge fund deal with his Uncle James, that never got off the ground due to threats of law suits. In 2009 after a legal battle, lead by the future firm he worked for (BSF)...the claims of fraud were dismissed.

**Note:
Boies Schiller & Flexner: Another litigation powerhouse, BSF has an unusual compensation system that typically results in mega-bonuses for associates (especially hard-working ones). In terms of starting salaries, the firm pays a robust $174,000 a year. Read more about BSF in its ATL Career Center profile.
Desmarais LLP: We recently covered the IP litigation boutique’s decision to raise starting salaries from $160,000 to $180,000 per annum.

In other words...

Rosemont was paid over 3.1 Million, with 83K a month said to go the Hunter, even if you took a lower figure of 50K...which would not include his credit card spending, and other investments from the 3.1 million...he exceeded the yearly minimum pay in 4 months. He was receiving both a salary from Boies Schiller Flexner, and the monies paid to Rosemont until he quit Boies Schiller Flexner in 2017.

It would be interesting to see what he actually accomplished at the firm...I can't find anything on this in his short employment with BSF.

We know he used his connections to get a lawyer to get Zlochevsky's 20 some million back, that was seized.

As I read, more and more dirt rises Doc

In regards to your point..it appears his excessive salary is status quo for a crooked lawyer, with a shady past, with deep Washington connections, hired by a boss with deep Russian connections.

Canpake...in regards to your last post to me.

You are just trolling more...you have no answers for the facts. Nice effort and research in your response...what did it take you five whole minutes?

But I know a post hits home when I get these types of responses, and when the other trolls come out from under the bridge to heckle (D-H) Designated Hecklers.

O'well

I am almost ready to get to China, I was hoping honor would join back in..but I guess he is done.

LOL

Yes. That's what it is... heckling. That's as good a story as you've got. Stick with it, and avoid the pain of confronting your own BS. Good job.

OK. So you have no facts or evidence of corruption to present, after being asked to do so for three dozen pages worth of posts.

I’ll have to assume that you’re just angry because you think that political opponents of Trump should be subject to baseless sham investigations, on account of them having been paid to sit on a board once, and not being able to speak Ukrainian.

Lol, I’ll bet that when Hunter was in board meetings, he didn’t understand a word of anything being said, because no-one in the Ukrainian business and political world speaks English. That must have been hilarious!

(To that last one - keep in mind that the author of your conspiracy book can’t speak Ukrainian, either, so he’s apparently unqualified to write any books that deal with the Ukraine. At least, that’s how your logic works.)

Markk, let me flip your script back at you and ask you why you aren’t demanding that we investigate ex-CIA and Blackwater employee Joseph Cofer Black, current member of the board at Burisma, who also “has no experience in natural gas”, and “can’t speak Ukrainian”.

Bonus corruption point: he’s getting paid! OMG!!1!

As of 14 October 2019, the members of the board of directors (of Burisma), in order of seniority, are Alan Apter, Aleksander Kwaśniewski, Joseph Cofer Black , Karina Zlochevska, Christina Sofocleous, Riginos Charalampous, and Marina Pericleous. Aleksander Kwaśniewski, former president of Poland, joined the board in January 2014. In 2017, Joseph Cofer Black, former director of the Counterterrorism Center of the Central Intelligence Agency (1999–2002) in the George W. Bush administration and former Ambassador-at-Large for counter-terrorism (2002–2004), was appointed to the board. Karina Zlochevska, daughter of Mykola Zlochevskiy, was also appointed in February 2016.

So, why didn't Trump order the DoJ to investigate the Bidens?

Focus...I have presented many facts and many evidences that in my opinion and do thers, that would warrant and investigation.

Not at all...LOL, Focus....Hunter sat on a board, owned to this very day, by a criminal with deep Russian ties who is on the lam. . While his father was VP and charged with rooting out corruption in the Ukraine, while his son was a board member for a known corrupt company owned by the above referenced criminal. LOL...and if you have been reading, this is just one of many things that is evidence that would and should warrant an investigation.

Another straw-man. The point is about experience and resume...again Focus.

Just a reminder that in Markk’s world:

- A boy stealing a candy bar is the same as armed robbery.

- A wife berates a husband for forgetting to buy milk after work is the same as China’s oppression of Muslims.

- A playground dustup is the same as the Rape of Nanking.

- A jaywalker being ticketed is basically 9/11.

Or reversing this a bit...

- Trump violating the emoluments clause is just like sneaking a bite of your wife’s dessert.

- Christians promoting conversion therapy is akin to sharing an opinion about the Dodgers during a break.

- Jailing and tearing apart families at the border is just like putting a toddler in time out.

See? When you’re in possession of an autistic view of morality and social convention confusing Hunter Biden legally taking a job with Burisma is guilt while Trump and his children using his office for gain is fine. See? It totally makes sense.

Markk, why are you still bitching about Hunter Biden’s pay if you aren’t implying that it indicates corruption?

Both of these statements from you are on this same page. Are you even aware of whatever your argument is, at this point?
