I have known [in real life information removed] for something like 15 years, and he has certain gifts, but he is also shifting from one thing to another. And right now, for reasons I will not go into, he needs to be attending to some personal issues.

If I had his email address, I would try my best to give him some moral support. I know someone who has tracked him down and tried to, as we now properly say, minister to him in a kind, loving way.

Midgley needs to mind his own business. Every time a person disagrees with him, even if just by not being in his church, Midgley obsesses. When Midgley says wants someone’s private information because he’d like to give that someone some “Moral support,” I just want to yell “RUN!” Midgley is a creep.

It is possible that someone will have to explain this to Dr. VelhoBurrinho, and Dr. LOD on the Peterson hate board, since much of anything that gets close to New Zealand seems to cause him to post rubbish.

Whenever Dr. LOD (on his home board) and Dr. VelhoBurrinho here posts, as he has often demonstrated, little or no real thinking has been done.

DrLOD has done me a real favor here. As a result of his calm explanations in the face of Midgley’s ever more rabid rantings about the subject of the Mormon church and ifs interactions with the Maori, I have engaged in a bit of fascinating reading lately.

What I have found, without exception, is that Midgley NEVER properly states the actual state of the academic research and various people’s writings. Even those that he insists agree with him invariably end up saying nothing of the sort when I read their original words. He really is quite delusional about this topic, which I suppose explains his lack of any academic publishing on it. No serious journal would accept his personal attack style, nor his inability to state a position, uncolored by his supernatural beliefs.

I believe the email address Midgley is seeking is philo.sofee@kissmyass.com

Those who has followed Dr. VelhoBurrinho (Dr. LOD, when he posts on his unseemly home board) will know that he was (and presumably still is) certain that I have a latent hostility to Maori Latter-day Saints. The "Little Old Donkey" suffers from a severe case of crackpottery.

Midgley continues to attack, with increasingly imaginary levels of recall.

Speaking of severe cases of crackpottery, however, I am still interested in hearing why Midgley defines Gina Colvin, when she was LDS, as a “naïve” and “primitive” believer?

Louis Midgley:

She started out as a naïve primitive believer. But her work on a PhD thesis in journalism led her to read recent French philosophy, and this colonized her in a radically hostile worldview that has exactly no place for Maori things or the faith of the Saints.

Yes he is back at it. I had actually kept a low profile there and here seeing if he would calm down. Apparently not.

I pushed back today with the concept of institutionalized racism and how it relates to his Lehite apologetics, lets see where that goes. I would think that as a Political Science Professor he would be familiar with the concept, or at least have the ability to quickly read the current literature.

Dr. LOD:

I progressively think that it is just a waste of time engaging our SeN bros. It's like Carl Sagan's "Dragon in My Garage." https://rationalwiki.org/wiki/The_Dragon_in_My_Garage These guys will somersault, contort, say anything to justify their pre-determined conclusion. What's more irritating, is that they gaslight, misrepresent, and attack in an effort to defend their hill. It's like dealing with a borderline personality or narcissist. I've just about given up engaging over there.

Thanks you are right but some times it is fun to poke at them through the bars of their cage.

Busy day in clinic today, everyone is freaked out they have corona virus, despite having no risk factors.

 that’s an excellent description! I have to say, I do appreciate when you guys make comments. You two often take a lot of heat over there, but just know that there are many, MANY readers who agree with you, and who love to see you push back a little. Thank you!

I admire your patience in sticking it out as long as you have.

Lemmie, does your husband commute by train? If so. Has ridership decreased?
