Normally they bring packages in to be signed for, but starting today, UPS delivery people will now only drop off packages outside and will not enter the warehouse. A worker has to go outside and take delivery of packages on the sidewalk, and then move them inside.
It’s the little things, right?
Correction. It was NOT ups that instituted this. It was my husband’s company that has determined that no deliveries or materials (or even returns) from ANYONE are allowed to be brought inside the building. Instead, his company workers are directed to take possession of all materials OUTSIDE, and then bring them in following the strict disinfection procedures I mentioned before. All warehouse entrances are now locked he tells me, and all customers, etc. must be buzzed in so they can control the environment as much as possible.
I love my husband’s company.
