That this is happening in one of the most advanced health care systems in the world carries a different lesson than the one you are taking from it.
Italy, average is 3 beds per 1000 USA, average is 13 beds per 1000
nope..the lesson here is clear. Do you also require anecdotal evidence?

First it was huge stones, then gold, tulips for a while, then oil, and now TP. You have to admit that if nothing else, society is getting more practical.
Lou Midgley 08/20/2020: "...meat wad," and "cockroach" are pithy descriptions of human beings used by gemli? They were not fashioned by Professor Peterson.

The Fake News Media and their partner, the Democrat Party, is doing everything within its semi-considerable power (it used to be greater!) to inflame the CoronaVirus situation, far beyond what the facts would warrant. Surgeon General, “The risk is low to the average American."
Protect yourself and your community from coronavirus with common sense precautions: wash your hands, stay home when sick and listen to the @CDCgov and local health authorities. Save the masks for health care workers. Let’s stay calm, listen to the experts, and follow the science.

Might want to get ahead of the curve and invest in gasoline and chrome spray paint.

What the “F” is he wearing the ball cap for now? Is this his "real guys roll up their sleeves and get to work" look? He'll be wearing scrubs by next week.

On an emotional level, the thing that truly annoys me the most is the more effective people are at ignoring naysayers and taking steps to mitigate harm, the more likely those naysayers are to believe they were correct that this was no big deal. Either they get to see how wrong they and it's terrible, or you successfully beat them back and that only reinforces their delusional confidence in their failed efforts to make things actively worse. It's frustrating.

I am not watching this, but I skipped to a middle section and it was just Trump going on and on and on taking credit for the stock market rally yesterday.
