Yep, it was the New York Times that started mucking with air travel, then announced that folks should avoid groups of more than 10 folks.

I’m sure that Trump will put The Media© in its place with an appropriately misspelled ALLCAPS tweet, because that’s what leaders do. Then we can all go about our business just fine.

Every restaurant and bar in Washington State is shut down except for drive-through, take out, and delivery.

Ditto the entire Kansas City metro area (which straddles Missouri and Kansas and has 2.3 million people). And, the governor of Kansas just announced every K-12 in the entire state is closed for the rest of the school year.

Currently, the state of Kansas has 18 known cases, and Missouri has 8.

I think that’s smart. It gets scary fast when you hit the steep part of the curve.

If the government shuts down your business (even for justified reasons), it’s not exactly hardcore leftism to suggest maybe you should be compensated to deal with this.

Everyone who objects receiving money from the government is leftist evil and socialism is more than free to send me the check they will receive in order to avoid participating in the evil. I will, with downhearted discouragement of this kind of socialism accept all checks sent in the American spirit of philanthropy. I promise, I will make good use of the money and buy ONLY American.
