Oh yeah, if this were the other way around, Mexico would shut us out sin verguenza or second thoughts and nobody would call them xenophobic, racist etc.

Holy crap! I just thought of a conspiracy theory.

This new strain of coronavirus was developed in a top secret American lab on orders from Trump. It was unleashed in China, so they could be blamed, and purposely spread to America and allowed to run rampant. Mexico decides to close its borders to shield its citizens from the virus. It gets so bad in America that the citizens storm the Mexican border trying to get in. Mexico then builds a wall to keep Americans out. Trump proudly tweets that he has fulfilled his promise of building a wall and having Mexico pay for it. That's totally 4D chess.

1) You complaining about substance with your one-off comments that have no rational basis in reality is super rich.

I’ve recycled that information back to faqs on occasion and wouldn’t hesitate to do so again given his past willingness to happily chat up that behavior and his continued aggressive and accusatory posting.

Maybe I was. But do you think I was openly wanting everyone to dogpile on me for 10 year old posts on Stormfront? Or is it ok to use information from another forum against posters if he's said something racist?

I don’t prefer to do that and haven’t with you. Our conversations have always only concerned what you have posted here. I can’t speak for what others may know or have done with whatever you may have posted elsewhere.

Doxing is ok if the poster is racist or Republican, but not if the poster is a loud mouthed bully on the left.

‘Doxxing someone’ generally refers to revealing relevant personal information about an individual that has not been made public within that forum or by that person in general. Things like actual names, or actual addresses.

I do not consider it to be ‘doxxing’ when one user’s sock puppet is identified as being by another user by screen name. As far as I know, no one has ever identified your real name, address or other relevant information about you. Linking the screen name ‘Maxine Waters’ to the screen name ‘ajax’ isn’t doxxing.

And how is calling ldsfaqs by his real name not doxing?

ldsfaq’s other screen name was leeuniverse. He has identified himself here before as Lee.

Speaking of bullying, I didn’t see anything posted by Icarus that matched that description, within the post that you leveled that claim against. Can you point out the ‘bullying’ part?

It wasn't about that specific post. But yes, Icarus has been loud and nasty on this thread as well. And it reminded me of someone. Hence I learned what doxing meant.

Interesting comment. Not only is no one at all forcing you to drink your milkshake with a paper straw, but your expectations of being provided with a free accoutrement that matches your specific preference to eat a nonessential luxury food sounds like something that someone with an entitlement mentality would say. ; )

To be more serious about this minor derail - my bet is that after a while, eateries will start to provide stainless steel straws for patrons to use, just as they do stainless steel silverware. We don’t see that happening yet because the transition away from disposable straws - both materially and psychologically - is still fresh enough in the timeline that too many folks will just steal the new option from the restaurants. As they become more ubiquitous, folks will stop pilfering them, and stainless straws will establish as the norm. Give it the better part of a decade for this change to fully realize.

In the meantime, you can bring your own cool stainless, rigid plastic or silicone straw to a restaurant if you’d prefer. The free market and US inventiveness offer many options for you to purchase. : )

My wife and I use our own utensils, to include stainless steel straws. No raindrop blames itself for the flood and all that.
