Self-Ex: That is that blog that my friend Nathan's wife runs, is it not? My own most important and very clever and inexpensive, as well as rewarding, bit of stalking and harassing was that two-week tour that began in Sydney, Australia, after a very restful 14 hour flight from LAX to the Graham Kingsford Smith International Airport in Sydney, and the two full days before we reached New Zealand, and then eventually when we reached a place an hour and a half drive to Christchurch, since the port from which it takes only at most a half hour to reach that city (which is not on the coast) had been seriously damaged in the recent earthquake, in the hope that we could arrive in time for Sacrament meeting.
This clever way of stalking and harassing Gina Colvin assumed that she had once been a member of the Ward the travel agency had picked among those in the Christchurch Stake, and that she would have somehow chosen to turn up that very Ward on that Sunday morning.
Unfortunately my devious and diabolical plan for bashing and abusing poor Gina Colvin was foiled by the fact that the Ward whose sacrament meeting the travel agency had picked for 17 of us to attend had had their 10:00am Sacrament Meeting canceled and that, instead, two Wards had met at 9:00am and the Stake President had turned the two Wards into three.
We arrived just as that meeting was ending. And, unfortunately, instead of being able to confront Gina Colvin, I was met instead by a very delightful Maori lady with a PhD, who stunned me with a gift of a beautiful greenstone pendant for defending the nineteenth-century Maori Latter-day Saint historical narrative.
But all was not lost, since Gina Colvin's husband, whose PhD is in Political Science, was there and we became good friends.
Rats, no opportunity for stalking and harassing. This is the sad story of my life.
There was, however, another very delightfully restful merely 14 hour flight from Sydney to LAX.

The amazing thing to me is that the cruise line configured its entire itinerary -- including choosing to do a cruise focused on New Zealand in the first place -- as a co-conspirator in this massive and horrifyingly evil plot.
That The Evil Church did its part by calling Professor Midgley on two missions to New Zealand in order to instill in him a love for the place and its people that would motivate him to take several private trips there on his own in order to provide a fig-leaf of cover for this particular demonic journey scarcely needs mentioning. The Church is -- need I say it again? -- Eeeeevil.

Ah, so the cruise line was sailing across the ocean with no particular destination when it decided to head for New Zealand? Much easier to fathom Dr. Midgley arranging his itinerary ahead of time. Combining a sentimental journey with a little side order of stalking and fava beans may have been just the thing that Dr. Hannibal Lecter would recommend.

As Robert Burns would say, "The best-laid schemes gang aft agley". Still, you held true to what you told Gina back in December about showing up at her ward, even if it was late and she was not there. So it was not a washout since you were able to meet her husband. That should count for something.Unfortunately my devious and diabolical plan for bashing and abusing poor Gina Colvin was foiled by the fact that the Ward whose sacrament meeting the travel agency had picked for 17 of us to attend had had their 10:00am Sacrament Meeting canceled and that, instead, two Wards had met at 9:00am and the Stake President had turned the two Wards into three.

Wow. Does Kiwi really hate all people who leave his church that much? Even for him, this statement is beyond the pale.

Dr Exiled: “Looks like someone got the wires crossed on this one. I wonder if the corona virus taking the wind out of the conference sails caused an announcement to be made that shouldn't have?“
Is that how the narrative is playing out among the misanthropic apostates, is it?
“Who cares if Covid-19 has killed more Americans in 3 months than the Vietnamese did in 10 years? The important thing is that it disrupted General Conference!"

Find some character, kiwi, or at least stop posting until you pull yourself together. Your disdain for those different from you is pretty despicable.

Wow! The anonymous, cowardly, worthless, sneering, pretentious, libelous, arrogant, uninformed, judgmental, nasty, racist, poor, little (did I catch all his adjectives?) Kiwi is going to burst an aneurysm with all this hate!

I notice that you carefully avoided responding to my comment about the "Primitive believer" issue, above.
The anonymous and cowardly Velhoburrinho maintains his worthless libel against the kind, decent - and named - Professor Midgley; the sneering, pretentious and supercilious Lemmie backs up that libel with her arrogant and uninformed judgmentalism; and you back their nastiness by posting a picture with a racist caption.
I call out this display of cowardly vileness as I see it, and you think I'm being nasty to poor little innocent you. Of all people.
That's funny!

Sweetie, surely you have something better to do than obsess like this over online posters. Maybe you could offer to fact check Peterson’s blog entries so he doesn’t plagiarize so often. If you have time to insert thirteen derogatory adjectives, you have time to insert sets of quotation marks! (Honest professors everywhere will thank you.)

The owner of all the sockpuppet accounts, who may or may not be the late and unlamented EV, can only log in under one sockpuppet account at a time. He/she/it goes down the page, upvoting comments by those in his/her/its team and downvoting comments by those he/she/it hates - apparently without reading them - then logs out and logs in again under another account to repeat the process.
It's an abuse of the voting system, of course, but the herd at the Sty love to abuse things, as well as people.

This is precisely how Kiwi and Louis do their downvoting whenever they see a name that triggers them. That way the two of them can validate their inner demons.Kiwi wrote:He/she/it goes down the page, upvoting comments by those in his/her/its team and downvoting comments by those he/she/it hates - apparently without reading them.

Midgley, as well as every reader here and at Sic et Non knows full well how his post came across. Gina herself has commented on Midgley’s stalkerish behavior and has warned her husband about his mean-spirited and abusive tactics.

I have been he direct object of Lance Hemmert's comments when he and others took over the Kiwi Mormon blog, when I posted the following after meeting Gina Colvin's husband in Christchurch, New Zealand. I was the first to comment on her most recent blog item:
"Dear Gina: I really enjoyed my recent very brief visit to Christchurch. I was pleased that the Stake President urged me to introduce myself to Nathan. I very much enjoyed our conversation. I was previously unaware that you knew that I even existed.
I hope you enjoyed the contents of my little koha. Rob also has a book manuscript almost finished. He has added to his work on Maori matakite a huge number of moemoea.
I forced our driver/guide to take us to one of those mosques where those terrible killings took place.
You have my email address. So it is possible for us to have a private conversation.
I must also add that I see Donald Trump as a failure as a human being. He is, however, not the only one who fits that description."
Note: koha (gift), matakite (seer), moemoea (dreams and visions). Rob is a distinuished Maori scholar.
This produced a host of responses, led by Lance Hwmmert, in which I was accused of being a liar, bloodthirsty, mean-spirited, rude, a bigot, a creepy stalker, paranoid, of being a racist, of stalking and harassing, both on line and in person, and by Lance Hemmert of both vile and boorish behavior.

Midgley is just reveling in his bullying. It’s an ugly look and just more evidence why the Maxwell Institute felt the need to dismiss his and Peterson’s type of mopologetics. Apparently even the LDS church and BYU are feeling the need to distance themselves from these mopologists and I don’t blame them. Who needs to be associated with Midgley’s bullying meanness and barnyard sensibilities?
(On a similar note, Midge “forced” his driver? He is a bully everywhere, apparently.)

Um, there's a moron in Washington D.C. who has a way with women, who could probably use a good right hand man and fellow bully warrior against those evil liberals. Right now he is probably injecting himself daily with some kind of disinfectant or other, so he can remain alive and continue to tell us all of his legendary greatness with some tweets. Perhaps we could clue Midgley in, it could help his retirement income as well, I smell a WIN/WIN here... the two are make out cousins, at least intellectually. Of course he would have to leave Peterson's sty, and that might make him homesick. But Donald could line him up with a riff of women he knows who can provide Midgley "comfort."Lemmie

Awwww, bless his fruity little heart! kiwi-boy is just so cute, trying so very, very hard to come up with what he thinks are insults! He is adorable. Ineffective, yes, but thoroughly adorable.

Ah. Well, I can see why being wrongly identified as "Lemmie" could be upsetting.
