The Minneapolis Police Department will cooperate fully.”“

This is a positive development as the MPD is allowing the FBI to take lead for transparency reasons.

I the days before cell phones, when an incident like this happened the police department was able to control the narrative. The 'thin blue line' here means when a cop kills a man, the other cops stand around a try to prevent the public from witnessing the event.

I'm just so upset by this. The look on the cop's face is so devoid of any humanity or emotion. One wonders how this guy got a badge and a gun. He should have been relegated to jobs without any sharp objects or any authority over others. What procedures did the Minneapolis PD follow, if any, when they were reviewing this guy at their academy? That is a human being on the ground and the cop is acting like it is routine to choke this human being to death, for allegedly passing a bad check of all things.

I hope those who are rioting will take a breath and wait a moment before they do something stupid that allows the police to justify their violence. We don't need any more acting out. What we need is concerted action to hold dirty cops accountable. They are supposed to work for all of us and not for the few.
