Following up on the MN story of vehicles with unmarked plates, the public safety commissioner also stated that this is systematically happening, contended that it represented organization, and linked it to arsons around the city. Hard to know what evidence they've got or who is behind it at this point. Isolated reporting of examples here and there consistently show white dudes in para-military gear, which does suggest right wing militia types, but it's chaos, so you have to wait (and hope) more information files in before making any judgement.

While online news coverage is more of a grabbag of themes, I've noticed TV news I've seen is heavily leaning into virtuous cops vs. the riotous forces of disorder narratives, which is absolutely wild given how many examples of police flat out attacking TV news journalists there are right now. Those morons are going to be the authors of their own demise.
