I have been reading his posts regularly without any disturbance to my equanimity, apart from the occasional sad sigh. Other people may of course react differently.

I used to grill him more than anyone until someone who has a background in mental health sent me a PM asking me to tone it down because he does in fact have a disorder and a disturbing past. Apparently there was a phase I missed online when he shared too much about himself including personal photos.

I thought we were supposed to take it easy on faqs because of past suicidal tendencies. Was I misinformed?

No. I just put him on ignore and try not to engage him. I did that specifically because someone I trust on this forum made the case mental illness is involved. He does not have a good life, and as crazy as it is for me to say this, I don’t want to antagonize him. I might as well kick a homeless man when I’m downtown. It’s along those lines.

I'm one of the people who has admonished people to be careful when engaging ldsfaqs because he has issues and its easy to cross a line because he antagonizes.

When ldsfaqs escorts me to the door of the gas chamber, prodding me with his assault rifle, I will not regret having called him a piece of crap on the grounds that he was mentally unstable. I could see this going any number of ways *because* he is mentally unstable, whether I call him a piece of crap or not. That said, now that I have been reminded, I will not make a habit of it. I will assume that, like so many other Trumpites, ldsfaqs is more to be pitied than loathed, even though loathing is the most natural reaction to such moral turpitude.

Let me say it as gently and respectfully as I can. There's no reason to abuse him. It's already been done and it was done a very long time ago.Icarus wrote: ↑Tue Jun 02, 2020 4:53 pmI used to grill him more than anyone until someone who has a background in mental health sent me a PM asking me to tone it down because he does in fact have a disorder and a disturbing past. Hey Alfonso, when you say this: But, that's ALL that is known it was.ldsfaqs wrote: ↑Sun May 31, 2020 9:32 pm
Now, to be clear, the specific incident of George Floyd, is actually an incident BOTH Right and Left universally condemn, and we could actually unite on because the depraved indifference shown by both the white officer on the neck and the Asian officer just watching it is utterly clear that this was an abuse of police authority and depravity to a human being. But, that's ALL that is known it was. And this sort of thing occurs to ALL races and types of groups and people, including 1st and 2nd Amendment Auditors, the average citizen, the bystander filmer, etc. etc. Anyone that actually knows anything about this subject, knows 100% that this is NOT about race, it is about a trend in police in which they think they are "dictators" just like Leftists do.
What do you mean that is all that is known it was? Do you suspect there is more to the incident? If so, like what?

I wonder if the NFL players who kneeled to protest police brutality were leftists or rightists. They committed no crime, yet they were called vile names for their actions.
