Re: The real cost of looting
The ultimate in conspiracy theories. The reason we can't find any evidence of many LEOs being brutally murdered by terrorists is that it's being suppressed. Even the absence of evidence is proof of the conspiracy.

Re: The real cost of looting
In order to know that evidence of X is being suppressed, you have to have some reason to suppose X is the case.
Ajax hasn't offered this apologetic yet. I think it's likely got some false information from his media ecosystem and uncritically repeated it. That he doesn't have evidence because the evidence doesn't exist is condundrum that presented itself after he wrote the post. He hasn't really decided how to deal with it yet besides dodging the issue.
That he's ignoring calls for evidence is totally about his personal mendacity, though. That the only real example so far of the kind of violence he's talking about was carried out by an ideological cousin to him and yet this fact doesn't prompt the generalizations he hands out against groups he has contempt for is also an example of his intellectual dishonesty.

Re: The real cost of looting
Let's assume for a second that the homicide of a police officer by anyone were caught on camera. Is there any reason why this should not be available for public viewing but the video of the George Floyd homicide is allowed to go viral. So, are you gonna, like, provide those "more than a few" examples of police being murdered by protesters or nah?
And when the confederates saw Jackson standing fearless as a stone wall the army of Northern Virginia took courage and drove the federal army off their land.

Ajax, you just can't admit the fact that you have no idea what you're talking about. Cops aren't being killed by protesters. Not a single one. Instead of admitting you just made that up, you're making lame excuses as to why it has to be true even without any evidence. This is why people like you are a danger to society.
"One of the hardest things for me to accept is the fact that Kevin Graham has blonde hair, blue eyes and an English last name. This ugly truth blows any arguments one might have for actual white supremacism out of the water. He's truly a disgrace." - Ajax

Re: The real cost of looting
There are numerous of examples of videos of murders of police officers on camera that you can find through mainstream websites, though usually, but not always gated with over-18 permission. I'm pretty sure I've seen every famous example of this happening that was caught on publicly available video at one point or another via youtube. That you suck at searching and search algorithms are prioritizing recent high-attention news is not evidence of a conspiracy. I don't know. Maybe try the word "dashcam" to filter out some of the hits getting in your way?ajax18 wrote: ↑Thu Jun 18, 2020 6:21 pmLet's assume for a second that the homicide of a police officer by anyone were caught on camera. Here's what I think is the most notorious, horrifying video:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LsrC5QV_Yrc
It and a few examples like it have been routine in police training to train police to act as though their lives are in constant danger for quite some time now.
With that out of the way, you gonna link some of those examples of police being killed by protesters or admit you either lied or repeated someone else's lie about that fact?

Part of the problem on the right is that they have been conditioned to think illogically. Since the majority of their narrative is BS, they are well-practiced at idiotic contortionist thinking.
Right now, Trump is encouraging the latest talking point that the only reason we're seeing more COVID cases is that we're testing more, as though cases wouldn't exists if we didn't know about them. As soon as you decide that's what the team is going with, you have to make the logic satisfy your own destination conclusion. In this case, you have to believe things don't exist unless we know about them.
Arguing for the GOP makes you think like a moron, because they treat their base like morons. It's probably because they're morons.

God belief is for people who don't want to live life on the universe's terms.

Re: The real cost of looting
I don’t think it has anything to do with Ajax. We’re in the crossfire of two crises: a pandemic and a popular uprising. And the stress of that has pushed millions of folks into an extreme state of paranoia that has completely detached them from reality. A town just north of me has many folks convinced that they need armed vigilante patrols to protect them from Buses filled with Antifa. Antivaxxers have teamed up with 2nd Amendment folks who think George Soros and Bill Gates are orchestrating everything in order to poison us all with a vaccine. Once people got that stage of conspiratorial thinking where they reinterpret both the presence and absence of evidence as proof of a conspiracy, it’s very difficult to pry them out of that self-reinforcing feedback loop. We’ve got a complete FUBAR on our hands, with no willingness our ability to problem solve our way out of it.

Re: The real cost of looting
Your link still looks like a crazy old white Vietnam vet who killed the police officer. If you're so much better at search algorithms than me (which I admit you probably are) find me a video of a black man killing a police officer on youtube or google. Is it really that such a video was never captured? That you suck at searching and search algorithms are prioritizing recent high-attention news is not evidence of a conspiracy.

Oooooh. So it's not videos of police being killed suppressed, but videos of black men killing police being suppressed. And you really need to see videos of black men killing police. So stuff like this doesn't count: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4ncNh6mUwJ8ajax18 wrote: ↑Thu Jun 18, 2020 8:15 pm

I linked the video I did because I think it, along with a video of an officer being snuck up on and tackled by a group of people then killed off camera, are the two most notorious examples of its genre.

Latinos are the assailants in this one, so you can touch yourself. Both have very long wiki pages because of their notoriety.
Anywho, you probably should provide some evidence of your claims instead of what you're doing here.

Re: The real cost of looting
David Dorn was a retired police officer who attempted to protect a store from looting in Ferguson. So I guess that one doesn't really count.
Clearly some officers have been shot or otherwise injured while serving to control and contain the protesters and limit the property destruction. Some have even died in connection with their injuries. But who decides whether it was due to injuries suffered while fighting the protests or because they had high cholesterol and their body couldn't handle a gunshot wound the way a young person would hence changing the cause of death to a heart attack? It all depends on the partisan political leanings of those doing the investigation and what they decide to put out there.
Plenty of police officers have been shot or otherwise injured during the protests. Surely it's been caught on video. And how come we can't see security camera footage of people doing the looting? Why is this being suppressed? Why is it buried so deep when it is part of the current story?
