While I understand your feelings in this particular case, the 'America - love it or leave it' slogan cuts both ways, and is perhaps better avoided in political discourse.

Well the hypocritical aspect of it is why I mentioned it. These are the same folks who told us to leave when we protested things like caging children.

Statue update: violent white supremacists tear down George Washington statue in Portland. More to follow as Whiteness is, uh, something something torn down. Remember as Marxists continue to use BLM as a political cudgel this has quickly transitioned away from police brutality to socio-economic-cultural hegemony that must be replaced by whatever it is Marxists think will work this time. While I’m understandably alarmed by the Marxist tendencies by Leftists, I do find promise in true and accurate history finally being taught in our shared curriculum where an honest take on the reasons and motivations behind our founders’ and immigrants’ motivations can ultimately help us understand ourselves better. Then again, we’re talking about hard Leftists, so I have the feeling they’re going to be more focused on retribution, lies, omissions, and ‘justice’ than reconciliation, truth, and unity around a shared ethos. Guess we’ll see!

Last night in Atlanta, 27 year old unarmed black man Rayshard Brooks, pulled over for DUI, resisted arrest, taser had no affect, tried to run away from the cops after a struggle, and was then shot three times in the back. Here is the footage:

I thought the same thing. They walked off to protest a murder charge for a cop who committed murder?

Seems like they have a police culture problem there. Let them stay home.
