I don't understand. The silent majority loves Trump. They all know COVID is a hoax. And this is Oklahoma. How could a tiny minority of people who hate Trump make so many reservations to fuc-k with his rally? They simply don't have the numbers, given Trump's massive popularity.
Or perhaps all that is bulls-hit Trump would have you believe because the truth compels one to see what an asshole he is, and what an asshole you must be to like him. Of course, the morons of the world will still believe in his pretend popularity, because evidence is just an inconvenience.

God belief is for people who don't want to live life on the universe's terms.

I first heard about this last night from a tweet by Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez which was pretty hilarious.Jersey Girl wrote: ↑Sun Jun 21, 2020 8:22 amMary Jo Laupp.

The Tulsa FD reported just under 6,200 people in attendance yesterday. The arena seats 19,000. The outside staging area, to include a giant viewing screen, was dismantled while Trump was blathering away inside about nonsense. Has anyone actually listened to more than a few seconds of him orating? It’s intolerable. I can’t make it more than 30 seconds before I cringe click the X button.

According to her, she entered that area cordoned off for the rally through normal security checks who let her in. But then she was confronted -
“I was surrounded and was told I could not go any further and that I was trespassing on a private event and I wasn’t wanted there,” Buck said. “And I said, ‘This is my town; this is my city. I’m a citizen of the United States of America.’
“And I was just praying as people were looking at me. And I realized they were going to arrest me.”
Buck said she kept reiterating that she had a ticket but that Trump’s campaign people wanted her to walk out. She said she sat down on the ground because she wasn’t going to walk away.
It looks like the arrest was based on the venue being scheduled by the campaign who could control access.
From the article -
“After several minutes requesting her to leave she continued to refuse to cooperate and was escorted out of the area and transported to booking for obstruction,” Pierce wrote.
She said the woman had passed through the metal detector area to the “most secure area of the event accessible only to ticket holders.”
But whether she had a valid ticket was irrelevant, Pierce said.
“Whether she had a ticket or not for the event is not a contributing factor for the Tulsa police in making the arrest,” Pierce said. “Officers at the location, particularly in the ‘sterile’ area, will remove individuals only at the direction of campaign staff.”
It's not clear if she sat and was protesting prior to being confronted, or was confronted on the basis of her t-shirt's speech. Don't know if that absolutely matters but it seems like something that would nice to know. If she was walking in with a BLM shirt on and confronted over it vs. staging a sit in changes the motives for the organizers having the police ask her to leave. Probably doesn't change anything legally but it would reflect how triggering the t-shirt was to the organizers.

I heard some of it off and on. I did listen to the water/ramp part on youtube. If he weren't the President I would have thought it somewhat amusing.Doctor CamNC4Me wrote: ↑Sun Jun 21, 2020 6:48 pmThe Tulsa FD reported just under 6,200 people in attendance yesterday. I wonder if he'll shy away from future rally's now since this one was sabotaged? Who knows?

His rally Tuesday here in Arizona is still a go. The church it's in holds 3,000 so I expect it will be full or near full.
That said, COVID in Arizona is getting to the point it could look like Italy in early March.
The State has a pretty good tool for following the data:
https://www.azdhs.gov/preparedness/epid ... /index.php
Prior to Ducey ending the stay-home order on May 15, we were adding between 400-550ish new cases a day. Not great, but it could be worse, right? Within the incubation window after everyone decided the virus wasn't a big deal, we jumped to 700+ cases a day at 10-days and then it j-curved up. We had over 3,000 new cases reported on Friday. The dashboard shows there are around 250ish ICU beds available with 1,400 in use. I'm not sure what the lag time is between case identification and needing admitting to the ICU, but it's looking bad. Supposedly there is capacity to expand, and Ducey has said he will call up the National Guard to assist with contact tracing. A bit reactive rather than proactive but at least he's realizing it's not going well. Thankfully we haven't seen a massive spike in deaths, knock on wood.
So. I guess Trump can come here and not wear a mask if he thinks that's a good idea. I'd advise against it but what do I know?

Given what we know about virus spread, 3,000 in a church filled to capacity shouting USA for an hour or more shouldn't be a big deal...
There's been at least one op ed I've seen suggesting the attendees list at least makes contact tracing easier.
