It was a blocked off road. The driver had to go the wrong way on a highway ramp, drive around cars blocking him, and barrel into protesters trying to scatter away. That's an awful lot of inattentiveness to assume on that person's behalf.

I don't know anything about the suspect beyond it being a 27 year old male who was sober, but if that person was black, that does not in any way preclude them from having a problem with BLM demonstrators. Maybe there's another motive, but black people are perfectly capable of disliking BLM protesters.

So what you're saying is that all the riots were started by white supremacists and that every person who you share an ideology with is totes innocent because they are not responsible for their own actions and they never destroy property or commit violent actions.

To be fair to subgenius, Icarus seems absolutely nonplussed by the hundreds of thousands of acts of violence, property damage, graffiti, and intimidation the protesters, rioters, and ne'er-do-wells have and are perpetrating. His handwringing over a few white supremacists committing false flag attacks give the impression he believes they're mostly responsible for the above-mentioned crimes. Meanwhile reasonable people have ears and eyes that function and can see clearly who is doing what, because they're open about it. Icarus is straining at gnats while manbearpig is rampaging across the country.

I think I'll just start calling Trump rallies and GOP town halls "riots." And since I'm changing the meaning of words to suit my own purposes, I think I'll also start calling riots "baby showers."

Edit: This reminds me of reading the comments by various Leftists across Twitter, newspapers, and other forums where they claim destruction of property, abusing officers, graffiti, and tearing down statues isn't violence because they're not physically assaulting anyone (which is BS because that's happening, too). The Left isn't immune from redefining words to suit their agenda. Happens all the time.
