Okay back on topic. What does anyone think about Susan Rice as VP candidate? As I mentioned above I watched the replay of her segment on The View today. I think she came off really strong.

She is smart. Unlike Trump, there is no reason to give her a cognitive assessment to test for suspected mental impairment.

You know what, the hosts questioned her about Benghazi. She noted that the investigation never found her at fault. THEN...she rattled off a list of American's who have been killed in terrorist situations since Trump has been in office and noted how there had been no investigation of those at all!

Yeah, it's important to note that if more Christians were like Jersey Girl, I'd have a lot less to say about Christians.
I don't like it when you say that because I am certainly no example of anything.
But you are an example of someone whom I think actually takes their religion to heart. That I don't think there are many religious folks like you doesn't diminish your example. I'm not saying you're a perfect parishioner. I'm saying that I like the way you seem to put it all in perspective and aren't preaching.

Would I think it would be better for you to let all that go? Yeah, ultimately, but I don't think it matters as much in your case.
God belief is for people who don't want to live life on the universe's terms.

Trump supporters being Trump supporters:

It’s a Daily Show bit, I believe. While funny and simultaneously depressing, it’s astonishing how much alike they are to Ajax, LDSFAQs, Markk, and our turbofart subgenius.

The Lincoln Project, a group of dissident Republicans, produced this ad:

Mourning in America ..

And they are not the only ones ... they can see that the Trump ship is sinking.

Their worry seems to be - will it take the US with it?
Zadok:
I did not have a faith crisis. I discovered that the Church was having a truth crisis.
Maksutov:
That's the problem with this supernatural stuff, it doesn't really solve anything. It's a placeholder for ignorance.

I agree. They do seem remarkably like our own hard right wingnuts.
No precept or claim is more likely to be false than one that can only be supported by invoking the claim of Divine authority for it--no matter who or what claims such authority.

Perhaps not as powerful as their other work but probably will appeal to some. The very last words on the screen are important.

Someone should be developing a TV Sitcom about the woman designated as the head of The Trump Presidential Library fundraising effort. I imagine a character starting the journey with all of the unbridled optimism of The Unbreakable Kimmy Schmit, devolving into someone with a disassociated sense of self necessary to keep her optimism intact. Someone like Any Adams, who has the emotional range to go from idealist to cynic.

In all seriousness, has anyone heard anything about a Trump Presidential Library?
