Right now it doesn't look to me like Romney cares about seeing conservative principles in government at all.
My guess is that if he sees conservative principles taking the form of widespread and blatant corruption throughout the political system, then he is voting is conscience right now and should be roundly applauded for taking a stand against it.
That's what any Christian of moral conscience would do.
