Did Trump hold suspect the votes he got in 2016 from Colorado, Hawaii, Oregon, Utah, and Washington?
I think not.

If we can get IRS tax return documents sent via mail, mail in our returns, get our car tags and every other damn thing done via mail, we can sure as hell get all the remaining states on board to facilitate mail-in voting.
The argument against this isn't even an argument.

Good try, but goalposts back where they were. My response was to the claim being made by the poster.moksha wrote: ↑Sun Aug 16, 2020 9:39 amTrying to disenfranchise voters in order to stay in office sounds like a high crime and misdemenor to me. The veniality required to harm the Post Office in this way should count double. Even better, double secret impeachment (televise it on all channels except for Fox)!!!
Whatever you are claiming here, there is no evidence for - but yeah that wont stop you from making it.

Yep, in the rural California county I live in, most of the registered voters, including me, already get their official ballots automatically mailed to them (this has been true for over a decade now), and we have the choice of either mailing the completed ballots back, turning them in on election day to a designated polling station, or dropping them off directly at the voting registrar's office or the secure ballot box immediately outside their door. I always complete my ballot and turn it in at the registrar's office well before the actual voting day. My little Down's Syndrome daughter loves going with us to the registrar's office when we turn in our ballots and getting an "I voted sticker", even though she can't actually vote herself. However, we have to actually go inside to turn in our ballots to get the stickers. During this pandemic, it would probably be wiser to just drop them in the box outside than to actually enter the Registrar's office. She won't like that very much.Brackite wrote: ↑Sun Aug 16, 2020 7:16 pmElphaba wrote: ↑Sat Aug 15, 2020 8:35 amI just read a blurb that said if you want your vote to count you need to mail it by Tuesday, October 20. That's the first day I can send the ballot in here in Utah, and I suspect the same is true for other states as well. I don't know how accurate this is as far as giving the crippled post office enough time to distribute, but mine is going the 20th no matter what.
The good news is that in most states, you don't need to return your absentee ballot through the mail. Link

Subgenius, in your own words, can you explain why absentee voting is fundamentally different from mail-in voting and explain how the former isn't beholden to fraud while the latter is?
Also, I don't believe you read my entire post, because I don't believe you're capable of doing so.

Yet another disturbing factor in the mail-in vote problem is that refusal to extend rent forgiveness or mortgage payment forgiveness to those who have lost their jobs because of the pandemic means that a significant number or people are in danger of losing their homes and becoming homeless. How do we mail ballots to people who have just lost their homes and are forced to live on the streets or in their cars? This is likely part of Trump's design too. He obviously is willing to do anything, whether fair or foul to avoid being voted out of office, no matter whom or how many he has to hurt to prevent that.

He's desperate to stay out of jail. He'll pull anything to remain in office.Gunnar wrote: ↑Mon Aug 17, 2020 4:56 amYet another disturbing factor in the mail-in vote problem is that refusal to extend rent forgiveness or mortgage payment forgiveness to those who have lost their jobs because of the pandemic means that a significant number or people are in danger of losing their homes and becoming homeless. I still think that one of the important reasons Trump wanted to be President in the first place, is desperation to use the office of the Presidency to immunize himself from just indictment and prosecution for numerous crimes he has already committed and hopes to get away with as President. Besides that, If he could remain in office for two full terms, that might be enough for the statute of limitations to run out on some or all of the crimes committed before he ran for office, thus further saving him from just prosecution when his last term of office finally runs out.
